God, I honestly can't wait to see how this plays out. The argument drives me pretty nuts, but I really can't see it as less valid than the argument
against Obama, so...game on, I guess. It's somewhat akin to the Indonesia dual-citizenship/revocation argument.
Crikey. Not that I wouldn't mind seeing Romney disqualified, but it's silly. And going back to the birther arguments - in everything you ever saw
on that, did you know Mccain was equally as ineligible if any credibility is given to it?
The 1700's law his team always appealed to to justify his citizenship after being born in the Panama canal zone was actually repealed by Congress a
year or few after they passed it (
see my '08 thread here or search for
others), so if anyone wants to argue against Obama's eligibility, they have to do so against Mccain last time around as well, and consider the '08
election as possibly the first in which we didn't have an eligible candidate on the ballot regardless...
