In the latest UFO news, a video taken at night over Campinas, Brazil on January 3, 2011 has aviation experts and UFOlogists baffled.
In the video below, glimmering lights, rising in a spiraling column hundreds of feet long, is filmed against the inky black nighttime skies over Campinas. As the cameraman films, his family chatters excitedly in Spanish, with awe and even fear, animating the discussion. At one point, a child is heard starting to quake with anxiety. It's that scary.

This is the best UFO footage i have seen in long time. Debunkers will have a hard time with this one.
I see it as kind of a sign from them *points up* saying "ya like what ya see? we're kicking it up a notch this year". I think alot of people will become believers this year.

You said debunk this? How about your link is wrong and also the information.
This video is from Mexico not Brazil. You want to see the real Campinas, Brazil
video? Check this one.

Both are great. Again it just proves what Nasa is starting to confirm with the discovery of earth like planets...

At first, i thought it was pretty boring. But then at 1:20 it gets a lot more interesting. The only mundane explanation that comes to mind is that it might be flares and flashing beacons in some kind of training exercise.

How do we know that was filmed in the sky? There are no reference points, just flashing lights on a dark background.

some skydivers will go out at night and attach lights to themselves.

fireworks, flares, all more reasonable explanations than aliens.

really, its a home video recorder. What references do you want?
Isn't it obvious that it is the sky...

Really?
Ambiguous blinking lights impress that easily?

Have any of you seen one of those precision kites controlled by two strings?

Fly one of those at night, with a bunch of LEDs on the lines and you'll have Jaime Maussan banging on your door in no time flat while you impress millions of superstitious and highly impressionable South Americans.

Really?

You guys are hilarious.

i didnt know skydivers have the capability to make such formation in mid air. Unless they have super powers...

How do you make out that is was obviously filmed in the sky?

Lights in the night???

Are we supposed to be impressed?

I think I heard them talking about the lights being on a mountain but my Spanish is beyond rusty.

There is no frame of reference for this video, there is nothing to debunk. We're not even sure its an unidentified FLYING object.. all you have is unidentified lights in the night.

i usually refrain from posting replies in this forum because most of the videos are easily explained and i would rather let people believe what they want to believe rather than argue for nine pages....

While its hard to say what these objects ARE, because again, they're just blinky lights in the sky, it's fairly easy to say what they ARE NOT...

Could be: Lights on a hillside, or boats from above....

they're not skydivers, planes, fireworks, flares, stars, Venus, kites, or RC toys....

Good post.....i look forward to watching this one play out...

Really? I didn't know sky divers can keep themselves in a single spot for minutes, and then dive down and turn at extreme angles instantly and stop. Did you even watch the video and notice the objects move, change direction and stop instantly?

I guess the Black Knights are at it again!

For all the people getting mad about this video - watch it again and look at the movements. Maybe if you watched the night sky more often you'll see some interesting stuff and not rely on YouTube videos for your proof.
