Hello ATS,

Before I go onto discuss my reasoning for starting this thread, firstly let me make it clear that the idea for it came from another member by the name of Alan12 and a post of his which you can all find in another thread of this nature here. I'm starting this thread as I also noticed this user commented further down that he wasn't able to make a separate thread of his own due to the current posting limits (20 posts to make a new thread) and since he hasn't been online since June the 26th of last year.. I'm assuming he hasn't been working on getting his post count up in order to start a thread of his own already.

So with posting this thread I really do have to stress that the credit for the various different information posted goes to him, not me. I'm simply posting it here because I find this topic quite interesting, I thought the information he shared pretty much deserved a separate thread of it's own and I saw he wasn't able to make such a thread..

Bearing the above in mind I have to be honest here, I'm still finding myself feeling a little bit skeptical about the true nature of what "Operation Blackjack" really was. Personally I'm more inclined to believe it was as the makers of it claimed it was - entirely fictional. But still, and with being honest, I have to admit I found Operation Blackjack to be an "odd" one to say the least and whether true, who knows really, but It's of course unlikely.

Before continuing further at this point, I'm aware that quite a lot of new members here might not be wholly aware of what I'm talking about in the slightest here so first off and for some clarification...

What is Operation Blackjack?

Operation Blackjack was seemingly a completely random and unusual series of disturbing pictures posted in the Telegraph newspaper depicting a series of Nuclear attacks on major western cities, first beginning in London and then cities such as New York, Washington DC, Los Angeles, Portland, Mexico City and Toronto.

With these set of images depicting nuclear attacks we're presented with images showing how these attacks first began, a date of when attacks would occur and a specific time of the day. The first series in particular showed these as well as a series of photo shopped images showing the aftermath of such an attack and how it would impact various major landmarks for example..

As the series of images unfolded, as there was more than 1 series of images over a few weeks, it became clear that these attacks wouldn't take place by extremists of any kind, or even a foreign nation, instead It was what many of us here at ATS would simply refer to "TPTB" - in other words the real world leaders, those with authority higher than say the President of the Unites States for example. The hidden leaders of this world. This of course slightly unusual to be shown in what became quite a well known series of images in a national newspaper shown to millions upon millions of people here in the UK.

It was shown in these series of images that these "Elite" figures secretly ruling the world were conspiring to attack their own nations in order to create a new country, a new currency and a seemingly new and much stricter system of control, presumably using fear of nuclear attack from a foreign power - At this time I feel It's also worth pointing out that this is something that will be quite familiar to most around ATS..

What I mean by that is In the early 60's we know of a secretive government project known simply as Operation Northwoods, which was an operation planning a nation-wide false flag attack on an American city by the American government in order to later blame a foreign power (in this case Cuba) to then overthrow the regime and install a much more "Western-friendly" one in place. More reading on this particular project can be found here in fact:

Operation Northwoods was a series of false-flag proposals that originated within the United States government in 1962. The proposals called for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), or other operatives, to commit acts of terrorism in U.S. cities and elsewhere. These acts of terrorism were to be blamed on Cuba in order to create public support for a war against that nation, which had recently become communist under Fidel Castro.[2] One part of Operation Northwoods was to "develop a Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities and even in Washington."

Operation Northwoods proposals included hijackings and bombings followed by the introduction of phony evidence that would implicate the Cuban government. It stated:

"The desired resultant from the execution of this plan would be to place the United States in the apparent position of suffering defensible grievances from a rash and irresponsible government of Cuba and to develop an international image of a Cuban threat to peace in the Western Hemisphere."

Several other proposals were included within Operation Northwoods, including real or simulated actions against various U.S. military and civilian targets. The plan was drafted by the Joint Chiefs of Staff, signed by Chairman Lyman Lemnitzer and sent to the Secretary of Defense. Although part of the U.S. government's Cuban Project anti-communist initiative, Operation Northwoods was never officially accepted; it was authored by the Joint Chiefs of Staff, but then rejected by President John F. Kennedy.

In place of the previous government, again according to these set of images, was put in place a fascist government and a heavily policed state. Well once again this is seemingly based on something quite familiar from real life... something called the "Business Plot."

You see the Business Plot was centered around the 1930's and It involved well known corporations of the time coming together to quite literally create an army, overthrow the American government (FDR at the time) and to install a fascist dictatorship in his place, quite similar to what the slides portrayed in fact only they portrayed this occurring in modern times.

"A clique of U.S. industrialists is hell-bent to bring a fascist state to supplant our democratic government and is working closely with the fascist regime in Germany and Italy. I have had plenty of opportunity in my post in Berlin to witness how close some of our American ruling families are to the Nazi regime.... A prominent executive of one of the largest corporations, told me point blank that he would be ready to take definite action to bring fascism into America if President Roosevelt continued his progressive policies. Certain American industrialists had a great deal to do with bringing fascist regimes into being in both Germany and Italy. They extended aid to help Fascism occupy the seat of power, and they are helping to keep it there. Propagandists for fascist groups try to dismiss the fascist scare. We should be aware of the symptoms. When industrialists ignore laws designed for social and economic progress they will seek recourse to a fascist state when the institutions of our government compel them to comply with the provisions."

All of this does beg the question though.. Why? I mean why would something like that be posted in one of the biggest newspapers in the country, allowing this seemingly fictitious story of terror to reach millions upon millions of people? Well, it could mean nothing at all in reality that's most probably what it is. Nothing at all. In fact, nothing but a simple story.. and underneath each and every slide is a little message to say "this image is fictional" or something to that effect even.

Even so, there's no getting away from the fact that pre-warnings do seem to happen, whether they be genuine, or mere coincidences. Most notably in regards to 9/11 in fact where just a few months prior to it a new tv show emerged called "The Lonegunman." What's special is the pilot of this episode told the story of a hijacked plane flying over New York heading right for the Twin Towers, this can also be seen here in this popular youtube video:



More well known anomalies surrounding 9/11 in particular can of course be found. Not forgetting the 7/7 "prediction" as highlighted by user Alan12 which was found in a panorama episode which once again can be found on youtube here. I believe many more stories of "predictions of major events" can be found also, particularly coming from Hollywood as most believe. And whether they're genuine or not is of course wholly up for debate.

Due to this belief that Hollywood is not predicting events taking place, instead warning, some even believe gloating, Operation Blackjack has received some quite popular treatment over time and has been taken hugely serious, especially taking into consideration the severe nature of what the images show - some even suspecting 2011 to be the year it all came true in fact.

Now, according to the post I'm basing this entire thread upon, 2011 was still a rather big year it would seem - of course this was the year many scared themselves over as I mentioned in the paragraph above. Well they were all of course wrong as I'm still typing here and now, but according to the post this was certainly an important year still and that's for one main reason - the murder of Bin Laden - the very action which would set everything else in motion.

You see with the death, it became clear that "the west" was being threatened with a series of nuclear strikes, much like was seen in the images above. In fact, according to the images foreign powers were to be blamed (Such as Al Qaeda for example) for such an attack on the Unites States and in an Operation Northwoods style way. Nuclear News - Threat of nuclear revenge of Bin Laden’s death

WikiLeaks docs: Nuclear reprisals if bin Laden killed

Recently-released WikiLeaks documents show that detained al Qaeda members have predicted nuclear reprisals if Osama bin Laden were captured or killed.

The classified Defense Department files, obtained from detainee interviews at the Guantanamo Bay prison, were released by the document-sharing Web site a week before the raid in Pakistan that resulted in bin Laden's demise. (See list of related CNET stories.)

Abu al-Libi, al Qaeda's third in command and "operational chief" before he was captured in 2005, reportedly said the nuclear device was "located in Europe" and would be used in retaliation over bin Laden's death, according to the leaked files. The phrase "nuclear hellstorm" appears in the Defense Department's dossier on Khalid Shaykh Muhammad, who allegedly confessed to masterminding the September 11 attacks and will be tried by a military tribunal.

Another detainee, Sharif al-Masri, reportedly said that if al Qaeda was able to move the bomb to the United States, they would be able to find operatives of Europeans of Arab or Asian descent to use it. He said, the records show, if bin Laden "were to be captured or killed, the bomb would be detonated in the US" and that al-Libi "would be one of those able to give the order."

The claims--which could, of course, be false--add more detail to suspicions in Washington about possible reprisals following Sunday's special forces raid in Pakistan. Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.), chairman of the House Homeland Security committee, told Fox Business yesterday that "we have to assume that al Qaeda is going to try to retaliate as quickly, as lethally as possible."

John Brennan, deputy national security advisor, said this morning that the administration is taking "measures to guard against any type of reaction, adverse reaction to the news of bin Laden's death," including deciding whether to release photographs and video. Brennan made those remarks on CBS News' Early Show (CNET is a sister news organization).

Speculation about al Qaeda possessing nuclear weapons is hardly new. Rep. Adam Schiff, a California Democrat who serves on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, said in 2007 that "Osama bin Laden has already talked about wanting an American Hiroshima" and that neither obtaining the material nor building a bomb is very difficult. A 2006 Rand Corporation study (PDF) says al Qaeda "was trying to develop the capability for at least a low-level attack involving the dispersal of radioactive material"--in other words, a less challenging dirty bomb that would spread radioactive material but not yield a nuclear explosion.

What do I think about all of this though?

Personally I'm not wholly convinced Operation Blackjack - basically a series of images shown randomly in a British newspaper - is really a pre-warning to anything particularly sinister. I don't think a nuclear attack will take place (I certainly hope not anyway) and I don't believe the set of images are much more than they appeared to be - which was fictional. Instead they were much more likely to be a practical joke or a social experiment to see how people would react to such a thing.

This being so I do admit, and like I said before, I did find it all a little bit interesting, a little bit odd and it certainly grabbed my attention as it did many others also. Of course though I'm still not taking it too seriously, and the last thing I want to do is scare-monger or anything, but like I highlighted previously in this thread, sinister thing's do seem to happen in this day and age and we know for a fact that a Government would at least seriously consider harming It's own citizens to ensure it's long term survival with thing's like Operation Northwoods or the Business Plot for example. For this reason I'm opening up this thread to begin what's hopefully an interesting, thought-proving and enlightening discussion on everything I brought up here..

As usual from you, a very comprehensive, informative thread with plenty of sources for us to further review and research. If nothing else, it brings to the surface yet another "operation," valid or not, to the benefit of others' exposure. I've not otherwise been aware of Blackjack.

As for Hollywood (or the MSM for that matter) - I believe the PTB hide in plain site. Whether these reports, articles, pictures, movies, etc., are warnings, speculations or predictions matter not. They are either desensitizing to those who are asleep, or enlightening to those who are awake.

The Operation BlackJack story line makes me think of the one in Jericho, a show that was cancelled after the first season, and brought back for half a season under popular pressure.

As you conclude, it may have been a social experiment, most likely to monitor the public dissemination of the info, how the chain of distribution worked, who was the most active on the subject, etc.
It could have been a form of social "mapping" by "TPTB"...

At least, someone invested money in this project, I wonder who? ( Maybe you found and I missed? )

I had not been aware of the existence of the newspaper comic.

On a personal note, I don't believe the 9/11 attack was the successful operation "They" wanted it to be.

It didn't break-down the American spirit and allow them to take the control they wanted to. I think they were expecting 9/11 to scare the public more than it did. They underestimated how desensitized the American public had become.

There is really only one place to escalate from there...

I just hope the public wakes up before someone decides to push the button.

Thank you for that great reply there, it was the kind of one I was really hoping for to be completely honest. You see admittedly when posting this thread I was a little bit worried some would just start complaining that I'm trying to fear-monger or predict the end of times or just anything like that which is obviously not the case here so I'm glad you saw through that to see my true intentions. Same with the other 2 replies I've seen so far too.

I do have to admit as well I am still a bit skeptical of claims that world leaders, or those higher than world leaders should I say, are giving us clues hidden in plain sight, such as what was seen in the Lone-gunman pilot episode prior to 9/11 which I mentioned in the opening posts for example, and I'd imagine that these series of images were nothing but a minor social experiment at best.

But still.. Just because I don't think it's particularly anything at all, that doesn't make it so. These thing's (clues to future disasters) can be happening today I guess, but It's not like I know for sure really. All we do know however is that sinister thing's have indeed been planned by government's in the past (Such as Operation Northwoods for example). If an attack on the American people by their own government can be considered then hiding clues in plain sight isn't really out of the question at all.

But, all we can do for now is speculate I imagine.. but that's why this thread was worth opening really - hopefully we'll see a thriving, interesting discussion at some point.

I read the entire thread and it does seem bizarre to say the least.. maybe i missed it but what year were these printed.. Im seeing a 2006 police van in one of the images so im assuming these were quite recent..

Funny how in the comic strip later the 3 countries mentioned... Iran, Syria and China... also Denver being the new capital..

Hey there, sorry for the slow reply. Another thread took my attention away briefly.

Anyway, I could be mistaken but the earliest report I can find for these series of images is from 2009. But I'm really not completely sure myself what exact date.

I just just did a quick search and this thread (from 2009) is also talking about the last series that was posted: Operation Blackjack NEW Case!.

There's quite a few other threads from 2009 as well, no earlier.

Good post, plenty of info there, some I know of.

Blackjack or no Blackjack, the OBL death was quite clearly an orchestrated affair, and orchestrated by the same people who are not necessarily 'Al Qaeda' So with the revelations coming a short time before OBL's death, it is also quite clear that's another threat in the can..it may never be acted upon, but it surely is another lever to further deprive ordinary citizens of their freedoms, bringing us nearer to the police state.

Of course 'Al Qaeda' is projected as the big threat, but the reality is that any nut job with the right infrastructure could do the same thing, and if it did happen, then it might be an expedient to blame 'Al Qaeda' Whatever, it is a dangerous game they play.

Just to add, that series started in January or February of 2009.

Fear monger? This seems anything but. You don't leave much room for discussion (hang on, it's a compliment coming) as your articles always seem to be overflowing in facts and corroborating information.

This Operation Blackjack seems to have a few similarities with the 7/7 London bombings as you pointed out. I don't know about predictions but it does seem to me to be a kind of "idea insertion" thing. First they warn us something might happen, then some or much time later it does happen and everyone just takes it at face value.

Oh thank you. I only brought it up in the first place because one thing that really annoys me here is the amount of people who try to scare monger literally all the time now, I mean it's just pointless really. I assume they do it just for kicks or something like that.

So I'd really hate to think with posting this thread I'd be contributing to any of that fear out there - It is a topic that may raise a few eyebrows after all. But even so I thought it was an important topic to bring up still, certainly something that shouldn't be ignored or anything.

Another great thread RA! Very interesting topic, great resources, research, and thought provoking commentary.

I completely agree with a previous reply - whether there is truth and warning here, or just more intrigue, disinformation and muck thrown into the mix under the guise of "entertainment", we are truly living in a world where the rules have changed IMO. Secrets kept hidden risk being revealed, while spreading everything out in our world of massive digital information leaves us searching for truth amongst the fathoms of quagmire. Even then, if brought to the surface and explored by those searching for answers, often the rational for denial is that the truth would never be revealed in plain sight. That would be craziness, right?

Where they saw it? ) and thinking it was an odd thing to put in the press.
That being said, it is a plausible story and as we are seeing things unfold, a more and more plausible
One.
But.... A story never the less, it still remains.

It does heighten the " plan for the worst and hope for the best ", thinking though.....

I got obsessed with the Operation Blackjack images when they first came out (I would have guessed that was 2008, but it may not have been until 2009). I was also a big fan of the short-lived TV show Jericho, and I thought both of these were playing with a scenario that seems to fit all the worst fears in my tinfoil-hat-covered head.

I just wanted to say a quick thank you for bringing this back to the surface, and for your excellent research, presentation and objectivity. I definitely don't see any fear mongering here - just a lot to think about....

The question of motivation is an interesting one - on the part of the artist, and on the part of the Telegraph as publisher. I don't think it's a warning (or maybe I hope it's not), I think it doesn't make sense as a practical joke, and I'm not sure how it functions as a social experiment. I hope there's more discussion of these and other possible motives as the thread goes along. I'm sure there won't be any way to prove any of them, but that's the most interesting question in my mind.

Edited to add a quick question - were these images printed (in part or in full) in the print version of the Telegraph, or only online?

I fear if this type of operation is in the master plan, it will be put into action in the very near future. Too many people are becoming aware of the evil deeds of these people to put it off much longer. Things are continuing to heat up, and the whole 2012 doomsday thing is a big distraction and could be used as an excuse. Puts a little seed in peoples' minds that it all was bound to happen. I'm hoping for a higher power to put a stop to this madness.... Please.

it's more like operation sell newspapers. all those cities are the major news markets in n.america.

the value of new york city property is worth trillions of dollars. an attack would basically wipe out the insurance industry.

I am very surprised to see the Telegraph running this kind of story, regardless of its claim to be "entirely fictional," we often find the fact to be even stranger.

If this was in the Daily Star (scary fictional daily newspaper, which I have never read in my life) I would expect it, but the Telegraph.....Whoa !

Obviously it would be really stupid for any of it to be real, having been put into print, but then that is just how they expect people to think about it, that there cannot be anything in it, because it would be too blatant.

But I'm keeping an open mind, it might not be truth, but there is some aspect of truth in there somewhere

Quite a psy-op if I do say so. I was a primary contributor on other boards under a different name. It was very surprising how so many people came together to unravel the puzzle at one time.

As it began it was apparent that there was some sort of terror attack in the early stages. Unknown to the contributors it was being tracked from the beginning. One hell of a lot of people who were once thought to be very different showed their true colors in an attempt to track down and shut down the threat on a global basis.

In the end it was a great game and a mid to almost upper tier puzzle. But alas it was just a psy-op to ID who would go the extra mile to keep people from getting hurt.
