Fox News Live Just announced

What would happen if a EMP detonated 250ft above the ground, and went on to say, if an EMP was to be set off short range would be devastating to life in the US. I tried to find it on the website but It was just heard so it may take awhile to show up? or I'm not searching in the right spot, If any could shed more light on this that would be great. Have to go to work in a few, but felt this needed to be on here due to all the crazy stuff going on. Would this be enough to push WW3?

There's a book called 'One second after' out, that explains in great detail just how devastating such an event would be. Until you've read it you can't imagine most of it, everyday stuff we take for granted will be history. One day, the lights may go out, and never come back on in your lifetime.

Faux news has been discussing this since early this year. It seems they are trying to paint a picture of Iran being a threat. Creating more fear of Irans possible nuclear capabilities.

250 ft above the ground wouldn't radiate very far as EMPs go. It's akin to a big radio wave but stronger of course.
A devastating EMP would need to be considerably higher and powerful to effect a large land mass such as the USA.

JMO this would be a very easy attack to be made. As of the last 3 minute man III tests from Vandenberg AFB those birds dont fly strait but they are not defensive at all. Iran did hack the drone which nobody else has done.(wink wink, let them have it) Iran is just a little smarter than the average cam@# jockey.
