Every soldier that enlists in the Army chooses a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS). Designated by a number and a letter, the 31E MOS now includes advanced responsibilities including command and control of prisoner of war and civilian internee camps.

While the civilian designation likely applies to foreign nationals in their home countries, it reads more ominously now that the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is getting nods from legislators as it makes its way through the Senate.

Part of the NDAA includes amendments allowing for the arrest and indefinite detention of U.S. citizens both at home and abroad.

Below is a portion of the MOS listing at GoArmy.com.

ADVANCED RESPONSIBILITIES

Advanced level Internment/Resettlement Specialist provides guidance, supervises and trains other Soldiers within the same discipline. As an advanced level I/R Specialist, you may be involved in:

Supervise and establish all administrative, logistical and food support operations, confinement/correctional, custodial, treatment, and rehabilitative activities
Responsible for all personnel working in the confinement/correctional facility, including security, logistical, and administrative management of the prisoner/internee population
Provide command and control, staff planning, administration/logistical services, and custody/control for the operation of an Enemy Prisoner of War/Civilian Internee (EPW/CI) camp
Provide command and control, staff planning, administration/logistical services, and custody/control for the operation of detention facility or the operation of a displaced civilian (DC) resettlement facility

Seems like the likelihood of the NWO is becoming truer each day. We are seeing the government starting to ramp up the creation of FEMA camps and the European Union is about to create a NWO government that has complete control.

The only question you have to ask yourself is how many people in the army will follow unjust orders and fight against the public it is sworn to protect. How long before people begin to wake up and follow the dots? Will the public be so stupid to be lead to the slaughter?

So long as the government has leverage in the form of something like, "You follow our orders and we'll take care of you and your family. Otherwise you'll be like everyone else and have live under our complete control." There will always be people who fill the government's roles out of desire or shear necessity; they are doing a good job of keeping the poverty level high and instilling the idea that "going in the military is a great opportunity that will help get your life on track by providing better opportunities than living in poverty."

Unfortunately, even if people begin to connect the dots it may be too late by the time they see the big picture. Even then, what happens when the clockwork is already set in motion? I believe the question we should be asking is, "when will it be too late?"

To provide a quote from a Mirror's Edge Mobile,

"

Once this city used to pulse with energy; dirty and dangerious, but alive and wonderful. Now it is something else. The changes came slowly at first, most did not realize or did not care, and accepted them. They chose the comfortable life.

Sure it's from a mobile game, but it is the truth! Once the comfortable option is accepted, people don't care about tyranny until it is too late.

Not too long awhile back, I was listening to two internet radio show hosts, both conspiracy genre, and one intensely does not like the other, however, I listened to them describing the same exact scene, one from Hawaii, and one from Las Vegas, about how there is so much 'security' and TSA, that it has wrecked the thriving liveley life which had these tourist hotspots pulsing in earlier days.
Your post made me think of this.

Sounds more and more like the US Govt is planning a large full scale war as they still have the 'war boosts economy' mental illness.

Who will they will be interning?
American-Muslims?
American-Chinese?
American Preppers/Survivalists?

After all, these FEMA camps etc are in America, not in the ME, Asia, ...

A better idea would be re-tooling the war factories, and start making something humane with 'Made in America' on it.

I haven't seen one of those stickers in over 30 years.

I am an Army Recruiter. This MOS has been around for a long time. I find it very amusing that it is now just being brought forth to the community now. There are so many other noteworthy subjects than the existence of a prison gaurd MOS when it comes to military subject matter. This is being done to further stoke the already burning fires over the recent NDAA issue. Of course there is a detention MOS. Yes there are camps being built. What did you think they were going to do build a bunch of prisons and have nobody to man them?
Right now the state of recruiting is at a recent high. For new enlistees and recruits the selection of MOSs available has been very slim. Mostly infantry and artillery have been the big must fill positions. Howevery as an interesting note I did notice that there was a whopping 10 positions for 31E the same day Alex Jones broke the KBR information. Not enough to staff even a single cell block in my opinion, but interesting none the less.
My point is that this story has a disingenuous feel to it for the purposes of fearmongering. It is almost like watching someone make a pizza and then acting suprised when they put cheese on it. The Army has always had a prison gaurd MOS. To get excited over this would be like saying "The Army has this MOS 92G Cook so they can feed the soldiers when they impose martial law". Or "The army has this new MOS 88M Motor Transportation Operator so they can truck everybody off to the FEMA camp."
But I know that it is the nature of our community to get worked up over the obvious sometimes so here is a brief history of the MOS:
Until 2003 it was designated 95C Corrections Specialist
In 2004 they redesignated Career Management Field series from 95 to 31 for all MP related MOSs
So in 2004 it became MOS 31E Corrections Specialist
They renamed the 31 Echo Military Occupational Specialty from "Corrections Specialist," to Internment/Resettlement Specialist in order emphasize its shift from working as guards in military prisons to guarding Enemy Prisoners of War overeas. It was also done to symbolize the massive overhauling of the 31E MOS after the Abu Ghraib scandal. This is in no way a new position, just a name-change for one that has existed for decades.
Now do I believe that there are camps going up....yes
Do I believe that the NWO is engineering a takeover of the US and may use martial law when it needs to...absolutely!
A majority of us who frequent this forum feel the same way about the subject of TPTB getting ready for some kind of event that will allow for the use of martial law and detention facilities. That in and of itself is the big picture here. The existence of an Internment/Resettlement Specialist MOS is a mute point after that.

This alone is evidence enough of how much our government cares about our rights...

Hey bro. I'm not proud of it. I struggle to get through each day knowing that my current employment only works to further the ends of the system. You don't know me or what I go through in my personal situation. I joined for patriotic purposes that were naive and misguided. I woke up and now have many, many regrets. To begin the name calling before you know anything about me says it all. You sir are a troll.
