We are supposed to be the land where dreams come true right? land of the American dream right? But what happens when you have money/power hungry people running the country? Well it just so tells us in our constitution, that when a government becomes too big, It's the DUTY of the people to restore power back to where it came from. That power came from people like you and me, yes we need laws, but to what extent do those laws prohibit us from living a dream? As the constitution states we have the right to live our lives as WE see fit.

You know I just think about the quote from the comedian in The Watchmen.
"What happened to the American dream, it came true your looking at it."

Where do you want to take it back to?
Be specific?
The 1920s?
the 1890s?
1950s?

I keep hearing this stuff from people but whenever they actually mention the America they want back, it is full of terrble terrible things. I am quite interested.

I have to agree that George Carlin was one hell of a guy, his comedy was so true that sometimes it wasn't even funny only to get laughs out of disgust. And on that note I would like to name one more great, Frank Zappa.

Before we came over here for the land. when Indians lived off what was given to them by the land.

The OP is a Native American?

No I'm not native American, In fact I'm 32, sorry it took so long in responding,

even though I know I'm young compared to some people here, I feel that where I am today is not where I'm supposed to be.

At this point I'm not sure I want it back.
Kinda like breaking up on a cheating girlfriend and then meeting a great new girl who happens to have the same name as your ex.

Kinda leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

This country needs a new name because "America" just isn't as appealing to me anymore, sorry.

You are not a native American? What country are you from? Are you here legally?
