Here is the real question, is it forced or voluntary?

Your response to the joke I made....puzzles me....what is forced or voluntary?

I'm actually not very old on ATS but after about 2 months and getting to know people - I noticed how fun it was to see 2 names I know get into battle over a topic and laughing hilariously when one lost

not saying who, don't ask

You know you're old on ATS when you use the term "whippersnapper."

You know you are getting old on ATS...when you can immediately recognize threads started by kids. the "what if" threads in usually the UFO/Aliens forum, and you don't bother posting links for them, because you know they won't bother to read them. Does that make me jaded?

I've been reading ATS for approx 5 years. I feel old when I see there are cycles, where the same threads are posted about every 2 years....But, I admit...I love them all!

You know you are getting old on ATS...when you are ready to admit, you are addicted to ATS

You know you're getting old on ATS when.....

You hardly ever see the people who were here when you originally signed up, and hardly know any of the new people who are posting on a regular basis. But hey Nix, you have a few years on me... so whom I to be calling me old.... Here's looking at YOU!

You know you've gotten old when you see a snarky but funny response to a thread, and you need to google what that particular meme is referring to.

And www.urbandictionary.com... is on speed dial...

You know your getting old on ATS, when you think that one of your best threads will interest others, but in fact it would if it was 500 years ago.

You know your getting old on ATS when half of your threads have to be explained in great length, because you know half of the members wont get the reference,

And finally you know your getting old on ATS, when you realize that you know some members better than others, and even though you disagree, you cant get mad.

Peace, NRE.

If there is a formula to guess what threads will take off and which ones won't, I haven't figured it out yet.

It can go into the tomes of ATS mysteries.

You know you're getting old when you go to reply to a thread about favorite childhood toys, and the only links you can find are to antiques websites.
