Its that time of year. I start creeping towards the birthday and realize I am a little greyer and having more moments. Don't ask my birthday and certainly don't bother asking how old I am. Just know it creeps up on you like a pair of underwear with the elastic broken.

So I am restarting an old thread. Please add, or get a kick out of the old one:

You know you are getting old on ATS when:

Your second to post to a new thread but in the process of fumbling around with the reply on a silly laptop, there are now 10 responses before yours.

As a result, you make a great point but someone already beat you to it so you look like the idiot who didn't read the thread.

You start a thread on breaking news, get distracted, walk away, finish and post the thread, but someone beat you on the story by two hours.


YOu wonder where that person with a watts of 126 came from and why haven't you seen them before.

You repost your own thread and you can't even recall the original title correctly.

Oh no! Is 25 the new old or something?! I have a lot of these lol.

I'm gonna blame my distractedness on having kids.

I have this one a lot b/c I will read through a thread with like 15 pages and not see my point made. But by the time I get my point typed up and hit submit someone was like 2 secs ahead of me and makes my point

I found out I was old on ATS when I started this thread.
What song was No1 the day you were born? + What's your fave song from that year?,

My songs were in black & white.

I'm in my mid 20's and can relate to you post all too well..
