I Think I've Figured Out How The Facebook Porn/Gore Spam Is Working!

There's a page (probably one of many) called CHICA CASA BLANCA SANTA ROSA EL ORO ECUADOR .

A picture of a topless girl appeared in my newsfeed apparrently because one of my friends 'liked it' which then automatically re-posted it as if it were shared by him, but you can't 'like' or comment on the pic.

I read through some comments of pics on the page and it seems if you 'like' the picture or comment on it, it will automatically post it in to your newsfeed courtesy of yourself.

This will go absolutely viral unless the FB PTB can stop it.

So, if you don't wish to spread this- ignore the pages you see! Don't voice your anger and disgust on the images! That's how it works and spreads!

Is there going to be an edit? I would love to know what is the cause of all the gore on Facebook. I suspect some sick 4chan people. Gore is on 4chan here and then. 4chan is down. This could mean that the people that like to vent their sick images on the 4chan boards are moving to another internet medium since 4chan is suffering from DDoS attacks

Now I also just seen an absolutely disgusting picture of a dead dog bleeding out of its face on a bathroom floor....

On the one hand, this crap absolutely angers/disgusts/saddens me (not so much the topless girls but it aint good to be getting around for kids to see and IS defamatory though...I am a male) and would rather not see it but on the other, maybe it will kill facebook (fingers crossed on that) via mass exodus of offended account holders.

I think this may be the work of "Anonymous"

Just checked and yes, it is. If you can use facebook on it, it's affected.

That's effectively what it is doing though from how I see it, rather than disable it electronically via a hacking attack (which I'm assuming they tried and failed) this plan b.

Spam it with graphic images until it is all anyone sees and watch the exodus of people from it.

But what is the root cause of all this? Who is attacking Facebook in this way? I am fairly sure these images are 100% real and could seriously mentally scar some people. I remember when I came across my first hard gore picture; I was horrified. Now it is sad to say that I am getting more used to seeing open skull and gore and am not as thrown back anymore.

Who says I do that? I don;t like facebook at all and would be ecstatic to see it gone.

If I recall correctly, "Anonymous" had vowed a couple months ago to destroy Facebook entirely by Nov 5th I believe.

Considering that they failed to do so, this could be their - or someone else's "Plan B".

I agree 100%

It is a HELL of a lot easier to create a virus like this as opposed to penetrating firewalls and other security measures that corporations like facebook have.

There are many websites that do this and they image with fake tags "CHECK THIS OUT" ... followed by some celebrity scandal... Like Rhiana did this ..or ..Justin Bieber did that.

Sorry, but no. Just, no. The cause of these pictures is all of those spam messages that people get sent and eventually click on, therefore granting those people access to your account.

I myself have zero porn on my page because I always report and delete any spam links I get sent. If you see porn on your page, guess what, you fell for at least one of those fake virus links... and it seems like everyone has. Quite sad, but much laughter ensued after seeing so many religious comments popping up in my feed about "standing up" against the posters of these pictures. Hilarious.

Some men just want to watch the world burn.

EDIT: The poster above me, MathiasAndrew, has it right. Those kind of things you always see. You basically invited the attackers into your account.

Actually mate, I haven't clicked on anything and these images are appearing in my 'news feed' from 'friends' either 'liking' or commenting on these images.

It appears on the newsfeed as if my 'friends' have posted these pics hence me seeing them.
