This topic relates to the hidden agendas built into that innocent box of entertainment sitting in the corner of your lounge.

Way back in the late 80s through to end 90s I had a boyfriend whom I am still in contact with. He has a very lucrative communications company, specialising in two way radios and other technology that he is extremely secretive about. He is a Freemason. Way back in the 90s I was very impressed by the fact that he was able to put the neighbors tv on mute by using a little 'instrament' when said neighbours passed out in their loung in a drunken stupor, leaving their tv on so loud that we could not hear our own.

I saw this guy in May this year, and he told me that the technologies that are being used every day, on every person, to control and watch them, will blow my brains. I asked him directly if they are watching us through our tvs and his non verbal response was without a doubt 'yes'. I know him extremely well, and the nervouse little blushing laugh he gave, is a clearer affirmation than if he actaull said 'yes'.

Since before reading George Orwells' 1984 I have always had the feeling that they are indeed watching us watching them. But this is now confirmed, IMHO.

So, I found this article, the link to it will be posted at the bottom. Here is some text quotes from it:

The age of deception is here and thanks to digital technology is now even easier to fool people in mass numbers. Seeing & hearing is no longer worth believing when it comes to digital technology. A photograph, a video, and a any sound can be digitally manipulated to show something that is not really there. This lead us to the topic of why the US will be switching all broadcasts from analog to digital.

Its really not as far fetched as you may think, experts say that anything that is built for one particular purpose, can in deed be reconfigured to perform the exact opposite. For instance, a car is built to drive forward but it can also go backwards, a blowing machine used to blow leaves can actually be reconfigure to do a sucking function. I believe we call those “vacuum cleaners”

The answer is a two part answer; first, the most obvious reason is because with digital broadcasting, it would be incredibly easy to manipulate a live image. So what does that mean, you may ask?

That means that they can show you for instance a “terrorist act” taking place that really never took place and then use the images as proof of why we must retaliate and go to war with a particular nation. This is very dangerous stuff.

Another reason why the switch from analog to digital is taking place, is a more malignant reason, and as reason # 1, most people are not aware of it and they should. Undisclosed sources, experts on reverse technology have informed that any television set manufacture after 1995 has the capability not only to receive a broadcast signal, but to also send one. That’s correct, any television manufactured after 1995 already has a built in feature to send a broadcast signal from your living room of live images of what’s happening in your home.

Woooohw!! I am unable to quote all the paragraphs in one go, and this is becoming tedious. (Anyone with some input on how to copy all the text in one go, please advise me?)

The moment you just happened to 'mention' that he is supposedly a 'freemason' your post lost credibility for me.

Don't do that, it's cheap.

Secondly, I could put a tiny camera in your blow-dryer if I wanted to.

My point is, if it isn't fitted with a camera, it won't send video data to anyone.

Rip apart your television and look for a camera.

If you find one, then bravo.

Cancelled T.V. service 12 years ago, and I know what I have in my monitors, but this has been a concern ever since I read 1984. Cancelled because it wasn't worth paying for, mostly lies and manipulation

Something else I have wondered about is hotel rooms. I used to work at a Marriott.

One last thing, do you know how many children have died from eating lead paint? Take a wild guess. I mean ever...

That's right, zero. Why did we have to get rid of our lead paint? One guy I know in Illinois has made the connection between the portable scanner technology that can be mounted on board a vehicle today and the need to remove a block to the effectiveness of a forthcoming technology then.

I wonder if you could still find some lead paint today.

I guess that's why lead is considered dangerous in all it's forms. They faked all that so they could get rid of lead paint and see through our walls! Damn they are so tricky....

Or someone else is pushing the boundaries of paranoia to extremes

Concern over a society with secrets is not what I would call cheap. When does a Society with secrets become a Secret Society is a whole 'nother question.

Having said that, I have a friend and coworker who just became a first degree Mason. These guys cook pancakes before the small town parade each year and are a bunch of great guys with no evil intents beyond getting seconds if the grub is good. I am even considering joining them.

The OP only said "He is a Freemason." The OP did not pass judgement or make any other comment on that issue. It may be circumstantial evidence but that doesn't necessarily make it inadmissible in a venue such as this does it? Especially since it was merely a statement of fact, with no qualifications imposed.

Possibly. Quite possibly.

However since "they" say that the military research is some sixty years beyond what we have in civilian life - that's a long time technology-wise - it is quite possible they began working on this tech about then and saw the need about that time. If I remember my childhood that was early 60s.

I guess that's why lead is considered dangerous in all it's forms.

Fluoride = poisonous industrial waste, pioneered by Hitler's Germany for the purpose of population control. And yet it is in 66% of the water supply here in the States. I don't see the stretch. Heard of GMO foods?

And who mind you would have the infinitely mind numbing boring job of watching every TV "feedback" from every living room across the country. Each household has several TV's I think. So that many TV's being monitored at once to see if what... people are sitting there staring at them??? Just in case???

How can it be cheap if it is true? Your opinion does not make it less true in reality.

well doing a lot of self repairs on my gadgets (computers,tv,washing machine, etc)

I've never come across a TV with an hidden camera, and on top of that it wouldn't be possible to send a signal back through the tv after all they aren't full duplex (most anyways)

Again TVs (ones connected to a coaxial cable, or DVR) only receive information, and are not capable of sending information, so this logic is kinda flawed..

I'm saying that it didn't have to be mentioned.

It had no bearing on the topic.

You know what I mean, so don't make it a 'thing.'

Wait so are you saying lead paint is safe?

So I guess you could go rub so lead in your eyes and mouth and you'll be fine, right?

I'm not defending the use of fluoride, but..

Fluoride = poisonous industrial waste

Yes it is somewhat industrial waste, but if it's in "66%" of our water supply and it's poisonous, why aren't people dropping dead alot quicker?

also you can't possible say 66%, that's a huge number and is totally false.

Not trying to make it anything, you were a bit harsh in your initial volley. My jury on the whole Freemason thing is still out and I have read volumes on them and by them. Of course I am speaking of the leadership, not the guys next door.

I certainly do see relevance in it's being mentioned, especially in such a banal way. BTW my sister thinks they are great and we should turn the country back over to them. Knowing history as I do, it is impossible for me to view them as walking the straight and narrow. Everyone has his opinion.

Water will kill you as well if you drink too much of it. Figured I'd get that out there as it seems you'd like to talk about things other than the toxicity of lead or the "lead paint theory" you made.

So... anybody actually find a camera in their tv yet?

The point is not a theory the point is nothing is as it seems, pretending it is at this stage of the game is called denial.

I think your Freemason got it all wrong. If he was a Freethinker he would know that innocent box of entertainment relating to hidden agenda's is called a computer. Them watching us, watching them, reading them reading us. Oh well, we entertain each other and that's ok, you just have to be aware.

Well here's your answer. From your second link:

Comcast Cameras to Start Watching You...

...the cable company is experimenting with different camera technologies built into devices so it can know who’s in your living room. The idea being that if you turn on your cable box, it recognizes you and pulls up shows already in your profile or makes recommendations. If parents are watching TV with their children, for example, parental controls could appear to block certain content from appearing on the screen. Kunkel also said this type of monitoring is the “holy grail” because it could help serve up specifically tailored ads. Yikes.

As Intrprtr pointed out above, how do you watch everyone? Or, more to the point, who watches everyone? How would you know who to watch, and how would you decide that? Analysts? You'd basically have to hire several hundred million analysts to analyze which of several hundred million people to watch. Too mind-boggling.

No, I'm more inclined to believe Comcast: It's just plain third-rate AI trying to figure out who's in the room so as to make their ads more effective.

Not that I don't sincerely believe in the evil of Big Brother, and the excesses of Big Government. It's just a matter of practicality....

I assume that by being watched, doesn't necessarily means being watched by a camera...

Ever heard of TEMPEST ?

Also check Van Eck phreaking.

No need to see people in their underwear watching the tv. "They" can just monitor in real time what your tv and or computer monitor are showing...

Creepy...
