I know you're not nuts, because I was awoken one night by a "Dark Grey". It blended in with the darkness so well that it just appeared 2 dimensional. Anyways, it was carefully picking me up out of my bed by both shoulders. When I awoke I was at least a quarter the way out of my bed, it was right in front of me. I yelled at it, it dropped me back in my bed and then I slowly went to sleep again. My friends girlfriend(at the time) said that she saw the same thing when they lived together in Wyoming. I wish I knew what the plan was that night.
Plus, don't tell your GF until she's ready to hear it.edit on 23-10-2011 by PunchingBag80 because: (no reason given)

Interesting.
Well first off, in my personal opinion, I think you should tell her.
I think mostly it's not that you don't want her to be freaked out it's more that you don't want to admit to her what you saw.
I have had ALOT of people admit this kind of thing to me, out of the blue always, I never ask for any information, people just seem to be forthcoming to me on the subject.
Second she is a magnet for this kind of attention, you should find a way to record it. One of the best ways is audio recording device hidden from plain sight. If possible set up a camera, make sure it is a quality one or the video will be debunked based on quality issues. Maybe use both.
If you can record it it might verify what you are experiencing.
Also having the camera in there might also discourage other visits, if that is what you wish. Although it might be interesting to develloppe a further relationship with the being if they are truly there.
Last point don't let fear control you. If you are scared, pull up your skirt and man up. If you have a real chance to document this and don't because of fear... you will most likely regret this in the future.
Sorry if I offended in anyway.

Buy a home outright, cash money, no mortgage.
Then open your mail in the coming months.
My real horrors and fears now are these:
Tax bills
Water & sewerage bills
Homeowners Insurance
Any Electric bill
Any heating bill
unexpected pregnancies
Any past balance due bill from whoever decides I still owe them money
Get married
Have kids
Continue to pay your taxes
Have Baby Boomer parents... they will most likely have cancer by now
You know what scares me the least now?
Ghosts
Aliens
Nibiru
Elenin

Please keep a camera next to the bed from now on.
General consensus in contact/abduction scenarios with researchers are that they usually happen with some frequency with those that these things seem to happen.
In other words, if this is your first experience, and you stick around, you'll probably have another.
Try to be prepared with that camera.
Yeah, so, keep a camera handy, and write down some interview questions. Be polite if anything happens again.

I vaguely could make out what looked like a very large shape standing in the door way. I literally thought, "what the hell is that." Had a brief feeling of dread, then closed my eyes, to try to go back to sleep.

Whats wrong here is that people are having alien encounters that are apparently scary yet also so boring that they fall asleep again soon after?
My only two options are that you're both quite mad, or you just dreamt it.
I also have dreamt that I woke up, got out of bed, did stuff, saw stuff. But it was just a dream.

Yes, because it it so important to record it...
Will you people ever realize what you should be doing?
