Is AE911TRUTH just a low life email spammer now?!?

Last night I was on XBOX Live playing Team Fortress 2 when out of the blue I got an in-game message from a user called AE911TRUTHXORG. With a name like that, my first reaction is that someone from this board who's in severe desperate need of a life wanted to continue griping about their 9/11 conspiracies, but when I went to reply to tell him he was in severe desperate need of a life I found out it was an advertisement to buy an add-on for an XBOX game. Not even a word about 9/11 one way or the other. In other words, it was spam that was sent to a number of people, not just me, and with a name like AE911TRUTHXORG, either it was sent by someone who's in such a severe desperate need of a life that they'll even name their XBOX Live handle after their favorite 9/11 web site, or it was Gage himself.

Really, I don't know whether I should feel more offended that the con artists behind these damned fool conspiracy web sites are going around making up stupid claims to get people scared of their own shadows, or that an organization passing themselves off as a "9/11 truth organization" like ae911truth.org is actually one of those [censored] spammers filling my mailbox with advertisements from Viagra to restaurant coupons. Heck, I think I would have tolerated an email from someone in severe desperate need of a life over this.

If there's anyone here who is a member of ae911truth.org, I would like to know what your position on this is. From where I sit, this isn't just a red flag that Gage is simply out to make a quick buck. It's a gigantic neon sign with fireworks and marching band announding that Gage is simply out to make a quick buck. Did anyone here who gave their email addresses to those ae911truth people notice a sudden spike of spam being sent to them?

Says the guy who doesn't need to spend any more of his time learning anything true about 9/11 because smarter people have already put the OS out there and that's all there is to it, to question it is just plain annoying, on to the video games and team speak fun with the other talking monkeys.

Got to get the message out somehow, if that indeed happened then I for one am glad. Maybe you should listen to what they say. Afterall, is itt right to have a government in power that is partly responsible for killing children on purpose?

Actually I do play XBOX now and then, but I'm not going to go online. And after about 3000+ hours of researching 9/11, I did another 5000 hours. Then when I was satisfied that I educated myself on ALL the facts involved, I felt comfortable going back to watching Football and playing XBOX on occasion, but I allocate very little of my time to such time consuming nonsense these days.

An escape from reality is needed from time to time.

I doubt it was actually them. If it was, then they have sunk to a new low beyond claiming things like "pyroclastic dust."

No, more than likely it was some random internet guy who thinks it helps bring awareness to them by spreading the website like a virus to people using an automated bot system. People on the internet are crazy like that.

Could even be a random spammer utilizing the name to spam, and have nothing to do with 9/11 truth. Spammers have all sorts of ways to gather keywords and information from your computer, with cookies, spyware, and viruses. Maybe because you spend some time here on ATS, and perhaps on debunker sites, where AE are brought up alot. And then some random hack was able to dredge up such info, and randomly chose something they thought might get your attention.

Spam works in mysterious ways.

What game were they pushing, Dave? Hit building 7 from space with the DEW? Paint the thermite before the guards arrive? Fire the missile at the Pentagon?[I should be in marketing].

If it really is someone affiliated with A&E 9/11, than at least they are trying to legitimately raise funds for all their mounting legal bills.

What would make them pond life, and be downright disturbing, if you had truthers spamming Viagra or male enlargement formulas.

Perhaps it wasn't locked because it's a legitimate observation. I'm willing to concede the spammer was some random peddler who picked AE911TRUTHXCOM as some random handle, that had no reall connection or purpose. It just strikes me odd that they would pick THAT handle over, well, anything else. FlyingCow, BoogerBoy, DarthSteveBalmer, whatever. They way it works dave is that if you search impotency, erection dificulties and take out food you will recieve ads and mail for viagara and coupons. Has nothing to do with 911. Sorry dood.
