I don't want to be a downer and I don't want to bring alot of negativity to the table here but this is something you need to be aware of.

I will say that there is plenty of beauty to be found in this world as well and I promise that next time I start a thread I will give equal time to the beautiful side of humanity but for now,

There are more threads but I grew weary of copying and pasting them. I was just about to conclude with some smarmy remark about using the Search feature before posting but I'll show a little kindness and assume your button was broken.

Notice all those cameras on the streets that are supposed to keep us safe? At least that's how they are sold to us.

Guess the little girl wasn't worthy of a quick response from emergency teams.

This is what happens when people are afraid to get involved for fear of being detained and/or accused of anything the police can think up on the spot. Before people say it's only in China, wait until it comes to America. When people have absolutely no trust in the authorities and mistrust everything about their leaders and protectors, they will do anything to stay out of the limelight.

That's not what I've become.

I have NEVER turned a blind eye to someone who's been hurt in front of me.

I don't just walk and assume someone else will deal with it.

I am not like this.
