The pictures (of the one day, rally) comprise a very different population then that of the "camp" downtown. The camp of "occupiers" is comprised of
mostly homeless/street kids and whatnot, or so it appears. They have also cordoned of a main road accessing the bridge to the east-side. The city has
been tolerant so far, but it does want that main road accessible and if the "occupiers" continue to block it, the city will eventually force the
issue. Beyond that, the situation is day-to-day. If the "occupiers" continue to "protest" peacefully, they will probably be left to do so, for now...
Frankly though, it is becoming less and less an effective demonstration and I won't be surprised to see this whole thing into a rally for "official"
temporary homeless camps, before long...
