As reported on in July by Myweathertech.com. In excess of 6,750 earthquakes have been recorded up to Monday, 26 September 2011. More than 50 earthquakes were recorded between midnight and 6:00 a.m. GMT on Monday alone. The earth tremors have ranged between 1 and 3 magnitude, the National Geographic Institute (IGN) reported.
“It is the youngest of the Canary Islands. There is a ball of magma which is rising to the surface and it is stationed at the limit of the earth’s crust. At the moment we do not know if that ball of magna will break the crust and cause an eruption.”
MADRID, SPAIN (Catholic Online) - The 108 square mile island of El Hierro is home to about 10,000 people. And the population is on standby orders for emergency evacuation. The island has seen thousands of small earthquakes in what seismologists refer to as an, "earthquake swarm." They believe the earthquake swarm is a sign that an eruption is imminent. Nearly 9,000 tremors have been detected in the last two months.

I have no link im afraid, just a message I was passed on by some 'experts'.
YEs ive read those stories that have been published about 'movement', my point is that behind the scenes they are far more concerned about it than they are telling us.edit on 29-9-2011 by Idonthaveabeard because: (no reason given)
I have heard that behind the scenes they are far more worried than they are letting on.

And you also stated a few posts down
I have heard that behind the scenes they are far more worried than they are letting on.
I know someone who has a few connections in this seismology 'industry', he knows im into this kind of things and passes on to me any worth while information.
By 'behind the scenes' I mean the people who are analysing and watching the activity in the El Hierro area.
Would you be so kind to reveal how you have "heard from behind the scenes"?
Can you give a bit more information that just "behind the scenes"?

It has been rumbling for some time now, and an eruption is propably underway.
Undersea eruptions and the form of new island has happened a couple of times in our time and been captured on video, they don't necesarily mean a tsunami will be created.
This one is pretty violent, but no tsunami.
Who is flagging this anyway?

If they were so concerned, I am sure they would raise the level to red.
I mean, why wouldn't they? In L'aquila, Italy seismologists are being charged with manslaughter for not properly warning of a quake that killed a few hundred people.
