What was 'everlasting in Genesis 17:7-8 was the faithfulness of Him to His covenant. His covenant with Abraham for the land is irrevocable and everlasting.

Nobody is disputing that at this time.
You have a central theme, which I pointed out earlier, to always present a red herring, to distract attention to what the real issue is, which to me is: Is the zionist regime occupying the land of Palestine (and engaged in ongoing genocide and ethnic cleansing in order to move a foreign population into the region where the native population have dwelt for centuries in peace) the legitimate heirs to a claim of ownership which overrules international law and all standards of morality?

For one thing, Moses was called and led by God to bring the. . (edit by JM to delete misapplied title). . .to the promised land. Secondly, Moses never set foot in the land, he wasn't permitted to for what he did in the wilderness the second time he struck the rock. Lastly, Christ's covenant He instilled at the last supper is the covenant of grace. It has absolutely nothing to do with the Abrahamic land covenant. Which is what we are discussing here.

Moses brought into effect a covenent with the people to follow laws, in order to have possession of the lands that were involved in an earlier, different covenant which had no attached timetable for when it might be fulfilled. What was the same between the two covenants was some of the land. Everything else was different including who was going to take possession of it, since the ranks of the Israelites were swelled by the influx of foreigners who came with them out of Egypt.
Moses not being around forever does not affect the fact that the entire system for taking land was already set up by him and was already in practice before he died.
The new covenant was not an adjunct to the old covenant, it completely replaced it and that old one was demonstrated as being finished when Jerusalem was destroyed.
The new covenant that Jesus brought about allows for the fulfillment of the covenant with Abraham by giving us a resurrection to be able to enjoy that future fulfilment.

The original Jews were the people from the Babylonian Captivity who didn't want to return to Judea, because they enjoyed the benefits of Babylonian and Persian culture. They aren't Israelites or Judeans. They are Babylonians.
