You know all this does?

Make more hatred against America and Britain.

Keep those hate wheels a grinding. Perhaps that is what America and Britain want, hatred by the rest of the world AND from people living in America and Britain.

If so, its working.

They just want the Ghaddafis mouths shut once and for all. We would'nt want that family to spill the beans on Sarkozy, Tony Blair and Prince Andrew among other European officials now would we!

They will be operating outside UN approval if they do that, infact they could already be operating outside the UN approval for the mission now.

That means they are invading the country and occupying it without UN consent. War. It is not peace keeping, it is not humanitarian.

IT is war.

France had the biggest investment in this, don't forget them too!

It really doesn't matter though. Humans have been taking advantage of humans, since we have been human.

The same goes for hate. Humans love to hate.

In the end all that matters is who is sitting on top of the world. If you think things are bad now wait till the West and China throw down in about 10 years. This War on Terror stuff is going to look like a boy scout camping trip in comparison.

It does matter.

If you have reached the point of "it doesnt matter" then game over.

Britian is the one pushing for the assasination, not France.

What we need now is a retilatory attack on US and UK soil. They are at war, so a retiliation is legitimate.

Well Blair and Bush have both been found out to go to war with Iraq illigally yet neither of them have been at the Hague. The system is bent and just suits those that hold the real power. War crimes are only war crimes if it involves a nation that isn't in the world rich list.

Would it be illegal if the SAS were requested by legitimised rebel government?

Surely if a countries government made a specific request it would bypass the UN resolution?

Passing the buck onto the locals is not the way to do it. This mission was handled under a UN operation and should end that way to, not by saying "oh the locals tried him and hung him" like they did in Iraq.

That is no justice, that is no way to operate with UN approvals.

Using the "local justice" (more like injustice) approach is just a way to get away with murder and bypass the UN, infact if they do that, they should be peanilised by the UN.

Well you seem to hate us enough with your dozens of posts telling us how bad the UK is. So I guess you may be on to something there.

How is your ivory tower anyway?

Because your country has never killed anyone, ever. Not even in defence. Because it's a magical country isn't it, powered by your complete sense of self satisfaction. Existing in a lovely, perfect world, where you can peer through your magic window and insult people safe in the knowledge that you are perfection personified.

On topic - Are they under orders to kill or capture Gaddafi?

A retalitory attack would only result in escalation. Another fun aspect of humanity.

If Libyan terrorists did anything now, it would assure that NATO would blitz into Libya to wipe out all pockets of it.

This is a war they cannot win.

I know humans like to dream, they love fantasies, but the reality is the West is militarily dominant, life is not fair, and the People's Republic of China, if they win, would be far worse.

That was unofficial, this is official.

Which means the British PM was slooooww or being sneaky.

Why the heck didn't that guy get a VC?

On Topic: It wouldn't surprise me that every nation that has troops there, whether in flying bombing raids or part of the blockade, has SF on the ground.

Ours will never be officially recognized as there, as we don't really officially recognize they exist, officially.

It's not a war......

It's a snatch and grab of oil, gold, cash, and Libyan assets tucked away in European banks.

Once they started operating outside the UN mandate, it became war.

Its a travesty that the Gurkha was not awarded the VC.

That guys act of extreme bravery and courage deserves at the very least a VC

It's disgusting they can openly hunt someone down with intent to kill and we (majority western population) idly sit and watch and not consider just how bad these western powers really are.
