New Gun Laws in New Mexico

So it's starting. Someone wanted a thread of this made and I think it's definitely worth posting.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - New Mexico gun buyers now have to follow a new set of rules. It's all in an effort to keep certain types of weapons out of Mexico and away from drug cartels. But the new regulations which went into effect Monday are getting mixed reviews.

Under the new law anyone who buys two or more semi-automatic rifles that have detachable magazines and a caliber greater than .22 will be tracked. The law only applies to Arizona, California, Texas and New Mexico which are border states. Some people say that is unfair. "That's also illegal," said gun owner Gilbert Bond. "It's unconstitutional. It's everybody or nobody, if it's a federal law."

It only applies to border states so far, but people already falling into the trap, saying that the law be made for every state, or none at all. I wonder which choice Obama will choose?

Its not a law it is a rule. People in this country are so stupid. To keep guns out of the hands of drug cartels. The US government has already admitted that they are the ones who ran them to the drug cartels. Stope the gun running by the US government and the cartels won't be killing US bordeer patrol among others

Commerce Laws must be the same for all States.

This is orchestrated removal of Civil Liberties, 2nd Amendment Rights.

The Federal Government can not limit you to how many firearms you can purchase.
