Gravity, at 9.81m/(s^2), keeps me humbled to the ground, while friction prevents me from slipping on my carpet. Anyone who doesn't like physics can't appreciate anything in the universe--as physics is the study of all forms of matter and energy. So many great discussions can come from physics and math alike. Whether somewhat political in nature (are particles time-traveling to stop the LHC?!), or purely speculation (time travel to the future cannot exist with randomness), there is too much to talk about.

Anyone willing to supply themselves (as well as others) with thought should consider investing their time in talking about physics.

Hello PhysicsAdept, welcome to ATS. While I'm terrible at math (and physics) it will be nice to see your contributions to the boards!

Welcome aboard..

Just remember, much of what we learn in physics is still only theory..

We are still learning and altering our view..
