Unit 731: History You May not Want to Learn (Warning: Extreme Content)

Good post.

A quick reminder to some in keeping the record straight.

The crimes of unit 731 have been public knowledge for many decades, this is not a recent discovery.

The Japanese war crimes trials were accessible to the public.

The Tuskegee syphilis experiments, while deplorable, were by no means comparable to Japanese tests of biological pathogens in either scope or public impact.

I like this story, America half the world away explains to russuia that the axis must be stopped in the west first before she can help the soviets. Still wages a two front war and remains extremely professional at the end in the face of a newer and deadlier enemy. And apparently gets to the heart of Japan before the russians.

I've known about this since the age of 10 when I saw a documentary on tv. As far as I'm concerned, this atrocity was far worse than the holocaust. I know that's bold but these people underwent the most pain any human has ever experienced. Before Japan was westernized they were a brutal people. Everyone I know thinks of Japan as a place of peace and relaxation but they don't realize that it took 2 nukes and half their population dying to become civilized.

I'm kind of glad Unit 713 is not well known because it would create extreme prejudice against the modern Japanese.

Im sure there is prejudice against Germans because of ww2 as well. I play on x box live and people always say Hitler this Hitler that when they hear a German speaking person, its so immature. IF you are prejudice against a certain race or people because of past actions or just because of how they look, you need to evolve a little more. Maybe your brain isnt fully developed or something. Sorry but im better than you if you are racist.

I know theres a differecence between being racist and prejudice too. I am prejudice against racist people.

I've seen Men Behind The Sun. The effects look pretty dated now but it still ain't pretty. There's a particularly-horrendous sequence involving a prisoner and a decompression chamber. What happened in Unit 731 defies description. Imagine the worst horrors and multiply them by a thousand. Children were dissected with no anaesthetic and their exposed organs stitched to each other to see how long they'd survive. Others had horse urine injected to their kidneys.

I'm fully-expecting to be labelled racist here but I think it's fair to say the Japanese have a particular talent for causing human suffering. All you have to do is watch some Japanese porn to see how into the whole cruelty thing they are. Their horror films are the same. Look up Flower Of Flesh And Blood if you dare. I couldn't sleep for days after watching it.

Exactly why they wanted it covered up.

1.) America was doing same thing.

2.) Japan knew about it, therefore we couldn't rat on Japan for they would rat on us.

3.) This is worse than anything any terroist has done EVER in the history of man kind.
- Worse than Nazi concentration camps because they were doing horrible experiments rather than just shooting people or gasing them to death, which COMPARED to this stuff was actually humane.

- Yet they were given immunity probably so we could get the data. And they are free to go about their lives even after torturing and killing thousands of humans. Pretty sick huh ?


The only thing that keeps my mind at ease about all this bad stuff we as humans do to eachother, is that eventually one day those who have commited these crimes will meet KARMA face to face and have to pay for what they have done.

Weather than be being born with a disability or being raped in their next life or being born into torture or what have you, they will get theirs.......x10.

Not that I want them to suffer but that is just the way it works.

Wasn't there a report a few weeks ago that something like 40% of S Korean students viewed the Japanese as their number one enemy, beating out north Koreans.

I don't blame them...

Have you any information regarding possible collaborative efforts of biological experimentation between the Germans & Japanese during this period? I find it ... interesting that these regimes are known for such atrocities & wonder whether they collaborated.
