Another FACE on mars !!

Hard to believe but there has been another face found on mars, now the first one has apparently been debunked, but not in my eyes, and this adds to the many theories that there is or was once life on this wonderous planet called Mars.

Europe's Mars Express spaceprobe took the photos and the explanation we get is the usual, "They are Rocks"

I don't think they are real to be honest, the first one "maybe" could be there but the cartoon one has to be a hoax.

Not hard to believe because it is OLD NEWS and was discovered a whole year ago.

If it is a face it is badly done.

I'm still yet to see an image of the face from Cydonia taken any time in the past 40 years that actually still looks like a face. Seems like only images from the 60's qualify. Odd, that.

As for the second face...
either someone has a great sense of humour and a deep love of photoshop, or the Watchmen have been visiting Mars again.

Cannot for the life of me think where exactly now, but there's a Google Earth location to check out, somewhere in the Bolivian Mountains or maybe even North America, that has the "exact same face", looking left just like that, except with an Indian head-dress on! Freaky!

If you'd like to check out the image, the coordinates are 50° 0'38.20"N 110° 6'48.32"W in Google Earth. This image was discovered back in 2006 and is located in Canada.

It's an unusual crater. Clearly. It looks as a small crater is superposed on the larger one. The result is a profile of G. Gordon Liddy. However, once you realize you;re seeing a crater, the face disappears. This is called pareidolia, and is responsible for people seeing the Virgin Mary in a taco.

...the video you posted included the exact same image of the Cydonia face from the 60's... which kinda reinforces my point!

I'm not arguing that there aren't any formations that represent or resemble faces on Mars. I think there are, I think they do, and in fact I think that there has been established life on Mars for Millennia (that may or may not still be there). However, with that said, I do find it incredibly frustrating that there is a real dearth of high quality imagery from Mars (much less the moon, of which there is practically NO quality high resolution imagery, despite its relative closeness), and that so much of what people push on ATS and other conspiracy sites is based on antiquated imagery.

In this day and age, there is no excuse for such low-resolution imagery (see Earth, Google). Someone, somewhere, is holding on to incredible high-resolution images of our Solar System, which aren't being revealed to the public. Whether this is for conspiratorial reasons or not is up for debate, but I firmly believe we're not being shown even a fraction of the data that exists.

They are both there. The smiley is just natural chance and the other one is the light playing tricks on you.

I've seen plenty of high quality images of Mars and the Moon on here... but that doesn't mean I've seen plenty of high quality images of FACES or "space stations". They're always from old or grainy pictures, or (even worse) blob-like images from Google Earth.

Like I said earlier, I don't actually disagree with the premise that there is or has been life on Mars. I just think that if you're going to push that angle, you'd better have evidence that actually stands up, even when high quality images of such things (such as the face in this thread, which has already been debunked a few posts up) show the dependence upon poor imagery and great imagination to make that link.

I think a mix between trick of light & our minds seeing what we want to see,if there was a piece of rock that was cut out to a human face on mars do you really think we would see it ?
Rocks change over many years to look like all sorts of things here on earth so why not on mars or the moon.

i'd like it to be a proper legit face but in this case i don't think so,when the rag called the sun is reporting it i tend to roll my eyes & move on quickly.
