Well, I'm not familiar with the area, and someone appeared to know precisely what he was talking about.

Judging from the displaced amount of water necessary to create such an amount of ripples, it must have been a hunter-killer class at least. So excluding the submarine, what might be left ?

Assuming the old lady didn't cgi the video.

I am familiar with the area. I used to live on Lake Washington at "La Casa del lago" (The House on the Lake). As I stated above, a sturgeon could EASILY make a ripple like that AND sturgeons have been found in Lake Washington that were quite large.

If you are going to maintain this was a submarine, you MUST explain how you could get a "hunter killer class at least" INTO the lake in the first place. Not only is there NO EVIDENCE whatsoever that this was a "hunter-killer" submarine, there are serious, if not insurmountable logistical issues involved in getting a submarine from Puget Sound into Lake Washington, not the least of which is the shallow depth of the Montlake Cut. A Trident simply would not fit, period. A Los Angeles class (this is a hunter killer) might barely fit if you opened at least three bridges along the several mile long causway to get there.

And then there is, of course, the "why?" of it all.

This facility does not exist on Lake Washington. The picture is not of Lake Washington, and there is no such thing as Washington Lake. There are no underwater residences, no docking facility, and no tours. This is a Canadian firm's fanciful notion of what they might like to do if they can obtain sufficient financing. If you think this facility is real, please provide the address of the docking facility. (Hint: It's probably on Lake Washington Boulevard or Lakeside Avenue!)

and some more proof:

This is too funny.
WHERE is the submarine here? There is none. There is a barge and a tugboat laying fiber optic cable across Lake Washington in 1981. The "submarine" in the title refers to the "submarine optic cable." The cable is lying inert on the Lake bottom. It doesn't move.

So you think that because the "Lake Washington Council" of the Navy League is hosting a Trident submarine tour, then that MUST MEAN the Trident is IN Lake Washington?

How completely silly. It says right on the newsletter that the tour will be at Bangor. Where is Bangor? On Hood Canal in Puget Sound where all the west coast Tridents are kept. This is salt water. The depth of Puget Sound is about 1000 feet just off Hood Canal. Bangor is in Kitsap County. Lake Washington is in King County. Please explain how they got a 600 foot long Trident submarine through the locks, down the ship canal, and through the Montlake Cut, which has a depth that is LESS then the draft of a Trident.

No need to do that. It says,

Lake Washington Council of the Navy League; co-sponsors Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve & Hire America's Heroes invite you to tour the Bangor Base Training Facility and a Trident Nuclear Submarine.

Congrats. This could have been a serious discussion, but it's now turned farscical. These three "proofs" of yours are absolute and complete nonsense. You have completely misunderstood all three of them. Once again, ATS scores big time in "denying ignorance"--Not.
