yes! altho both were destroyed, the planet killer had a longer life span.

death star could be used to take over planets, the dooms day machine had 1 purpose, destroy the planet.

Great thread! I've never heard all my favorite things mentioned in one thread before!

Are we talking about the first death star or the second one? Which one didn't get blown up? I keep forgetting ! It's not that it's not totally bad ass, but it just doesn't look badass enough! Plus, when you start talking about fiction vehicles does something that weighs in on a planetary scale a "vehicle"? If you want iconic, I vote for this one, and that's all I gots for now ..

Actually, wasn't it beaten by some old guy in his bathrobe who shut off it's defense system by using Magic and then no one on the entire thing even noticed that the "shields" were down? It's no big deal, but I think it was the guy in the bathrobe that killed it! Anyway I guess the old guy commited suicide because he just couldn't face having to go back to living in his parents garage out in the desert or something.

The most iconic fictional vehicle....hmmmm, since science was not in the title....fictional was....therefore it doesn't necessarily have to be a DeathStar.....

maybe the death star is carrying the bat mobile and granny as an assault team.

jethro would certainly go for daisy duke, uncle jed would be a capt or something and granny a loose cannon.
