as far as Ron Paul goes, he is very dangerous and threatening to the Federal Reserve..
but at the same time he is a corporatists dream.. no one wants a smaller government,
or less regulation than the good doctor does..
how would that set with those of you about to retire?
no more social security, medicare, medicaid..
no more funding for education, or enviromental concerns..

no more foriegn wars.. yay! thats a good thing..
but the harms outway the benefits I think..

I was a ardent supporter of his..
watched every debate, and watched as the media totally marginalized him..
and when he did not get the GOP nomination, I watched him withdraw from the race..
I felt betrayed.. he could have run as an independent but he chose instead to cave in..

so No.. not Ron Paul..

Trump is the very definition of a corporatist.. so No..
and absolutely no one in the repuke party..
set the taxes back to where they were in the nineties..
anyone who promises that I will consider..

I want a candidate to come along who is compassionate and has empathy, as opposed to being a survival-of-the-fittest elitest psychopath. Those "Let them eat cake" types.

Thank you pccat. Not all of us on ATS here are Ayn Rand Libertarians. Although, at times it seems so, to me, thats for sure. Ayn Rand Libertarians annnnnd Republicans BOTH, wish to see us all back in the daze of the Robber Barons. Those of you survival-of-the-fittest types need to read some good book out there about what happens to average citizens and their families back then. I listened to a radio show about this book on the terrible heat wave in New York City 1896, which killed nearly 1500 people.
www.npr.org...
This robber baron capitalist got himself in charge of the ice blocks people purchased. He made it so the non-rich could not get them, and when people died, they remained hot and rotting where they passed, and horses fell in the street, and in the utopia of the survival-of-the-psychopathiest unfettered capitalism, the bloated horse corpses would lay there underfoot.
Ooooooo, don't we all just WANT that back again???

about wow gold
New Forum, itchy trigger finger, sue me.

U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, said Congress wow gold to scale back spending for social and defense programs out of recognition government has grown too
Speaking to 200 people at The Family Leader Presidential Lecture Series on the campus of Dordt College, Paul said the nation’s founding fathers wanted a noninterventionalist foreign policy. He said America can’t continue to be the “policeman of the world” because it is costly and ultimately wow gold hasn’t made the nation more secure. “I don’t think we are safer for a minute,” Paul said.

I don't think I would vote for Romney over Obama....BUT...I don't think I would mind seeing him be President. Out of all the Republican candidates, he seems less extreme and like you said, a centrist.

That is why I am hoping he gets the Republican nomination. Because even though I think he would have a good chance of beating Obama (and I would like to see Obama re-elected)...I don't see it as the end of the world if he would get elected.

I want Obama to win again. As much as I don't like him, I don't think America has learned a good enough lesson from the liberals.

One more term with Obama and it will be generations, if that soon, before another liberal goes into the White House.

I know America is suffering but the best lessons are the hardest lessons.

Flame me. I don't care. I want Obama to win in 2012 because America deserves a person like him to straighten out.

.....how about someone who doesn't promise change while continuing on a downhill slope.

Words aren't enough at this point, we need someone to take action!

Hopefully the Republicans don't run another sacrificial lamb like McCain.

Oh, they will. Have you noticed no REAL candidates have emerged yet?

Sure, I like Paul. But we all know as long as he runs a a Republican, he will be relegated to the sidelines.

The GOP has a real chance in 2016. IF they just let the circus monkeys like Palin, Bachman, Trump and Gingrich sell some books, er... campaign a bit for distraction's sake, they can guarantee another Obama win. And that means they can continue to pretend the economy is all the Dems fault, perpetuating the DemPublican dichotomy pendulum swing.

Simple!
