Now how weird is this?
At app 7:00 pm EDT
my phone rang and it was from the
DNC. I am assuming this is the Democratic
Party who did a phone poll to ask my opinions
on the Gov Shutdown.

It seemed to be strongly biased toward Obama
in the fight over the US Budget.

I was very surprised that it asked me who did
I think was responsible for this impasse.
Then it asked me which side I agree with
on the issue of the budget.

Now, I'm beginning to wonder if this will in
any way sway congress' decision on which
side will cave in.

Now my questions are:

Did any of you get this phone call??

And just who is paying for this national phone poll??
And will it be included in the budget?

Please discuss

...

just a poll from the DNC to get stats on how to spin and portray the narrative overall. if people are shaking their fist at congress, then they play that angle up...if people are shaking their fist at obama, they release a ad campaign and such about how this is congress's fault to sway the voters.

same with the RNC I would imagine with their polling...this isn't tax payer money, this is donation money.

and will it sway one side caving or the other? naa...it will sway only how the advertising is handled. polls are rarely to see how government should lead...its how marketing should sell.

Was there an option to blame both parties at once? Or to blame the elite that are actually in control of the whole damned deal?

If not, it's a worthless poll lol

No, I didn't get the call, myself. Probably won't. My opinions don't count, since I am disabled and don't contribute funds to their system

well I am disabled too and they still called me

and I do believe they did give the option
to blame both sides. however, it was the last
option so you had to wait for it, lol

and let me explain how I thought it
to be biased.

It was by how they listed their choices
to the answers.

When they asked me who I thought was
responsible for this impasse. Republicans
was choice #1 on the keypad and that
choice was offered first.

And when they asked me who I supported
in this budget battle. Obama was choice #1.
It was like this throughout the phone poll.
It was like a stacked poll. And Saturn is
probably right, Obama will use this info
for the spin he needs no matter what I pressed
on the keypad.

It was like the choice they WANTED you to make
was always listed first in the choices.

Indeed, that's how programming works.

When someone wants to influence you one way or the other, you can see the bias by what they choose to display first and last.

Those 2 options are what is best remembered by people and what "jumps out" at you the most. So if you want to influence someone, you will list what you WANT them to choose either first, or last.

Pretty well known way of influence. Think about music that you hear. What ends up getting stuck in the head the most, for the majority of people, is either the first moments or the ending. The middle is just filler

there were only 3 choices for that question.
1) Republicans
2) Obama
3) Both

the elites were not listed as a choice.
I guess they don't frequent ATS .... lmao

well actually it's not entirely new.
I used it for a while then changed it.
But after the news came out about
Soros and Bretton Woods II, I decided
to bring it out again

But glad you like it.

I believe the "Robo Call" was only directed towards potential Presidential candidates which explains why no other members received one.
My advice: Get caller ID.

Woohoo Friday night on ATS.

I think all of America hangs up. That's what bugs me.

It's a biased poll because you choose to respond or not.

I could try and defend my reasoning...

It goes something like this...

back in 2008 there was a moment in time where some emergency financial

issue came up with the stock market, and all of the sudden our elected officials

decided we needed to bail the banks out.

This came literally overnight to the american people.

An October suprise, if you will.

After that...dont matter to me if its Repubs, or Dems...

They are all going to get the *click*.

Got Click?
some 90 percent got Click when they tried to make their opinion known
then the bailout occured anyway
which as it turns out went hugely to foreign banks
like Libya's

well I guess I participated in the
phone poll cuz I was heartily into
that topic on ATS in another thread
and it was fresh in my mind and
wanted to discuss it.

The last robo call I got was from
Sarah Palin pushing for the GOP
in midterms.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

So please tell me how do I
opt out of that political call list?
How the heck did they get my name
and number anyway???

into an electronic voting machine...
someone quite different should come out
