Wow! I love this theory. It sounds very plausible. Beck started off fairly reasonable, but then his stories and presentation just kept getting wilder and wilder until he reached a tipping point with his viewers. They started looking elsewhere. But the more conspiracy-inclined stick with him even now. In that way, FOX could get as many rumors and fear-based suspicions about the left out there and then, to maintain some sort of reputation with the more moderate conservatives, they oust Beck, resulting in the widest range of viewers (and GOP voters) possible... It's really a clever scheme, if that's what happened.

He is "transitioning out of his daily show" but will continue to work on special projects....I guess it all depends if his work on "special projects" is a permanent thing or just a stepping stone to being totally phased out - time will tell. In the meantime he has a successful daily radio show and two websites....plus he has been a prolific writer. Given where we are on the election cycle....I wonder if he has any political ambitions for high public office. Hmmmmmmm.

Becks biggest sponsor dumped him because his stupid crazy ideology reflected badly on them. No sponsor wants to put out big bucks for BS that in fact drives away costumers. Advertisers want to appeal to the main stream, middle of the road demographic; Not the old white men, conservative fringe which is where Becks ideology went.

TV shows aren't about information; they are about ratings and content that appeals to advertisers. Beck started to believe his own BS and it bit him in the butt. He had a good run and his company made millions...retire already, move back to SLC and start your own network for the ideologically challenged.

In the parlance of Sarah Palin, "He's quitting because he's not a quitter."

But not seriously he probably just wants to spend some more time with his family values. I can think of a few ATS members who might be needing a group hug right about now. I'll miss the yuks and fake tears...not.

I admit a couple of years ago, I started watching Beck.
I also admit to learning a few things from his rants....like the evilness of progressivism....and how old radicals never go away, they just go mainstream, and become truly dangerous.
But, when he did the FEMA camp story, and spouted the MSM BS and how he totally believes the government 9/11 story, well.......

....I did my homework, and I came up with white man speaks with forked tongue....no I won't miss him.

I think people started realizing that this guy is/was a real "nut-job" (to use O'Reilly's terminology) when he started saying that Obama (like him or not) was/is the Anti-Christ. I mean, REALLY? After a while, Beck's rants just became deranged and insane. He might have had some good points here and there, but they were sauced with tunnel-visioned and erratic "insights" that all but screamed, "I'm on drugs!"

Beck seemed pretty cool at first.

Then came the weirdness.

And it got even weirder.

But he still had people watching.

This whole thing doesn't feel right. Something stinks.

Got no proof but the official storyline seems mighty off.

I guess Beck could say its a secret attack on Mormons through subliminal messages of comedy. The Corbert Report did a show about Glenn Beck being removed but said they had a emergency Beck Pak that would help. In it there was a can of Beck that glowed when opened with Beck saying the world is doomed. About the same time Real Time with Bill Maher did a show about birth certificates of Donald Trump. In that show they closed with Mitt Romney's birth certificate in a small box that glowed when opened. Both shows are tied to Comedy Central so im sure its just the same joke writer for both shows. But im sure Beck could fill a lot of chalk boards with it.

Glenn Beck will no longer have a daily program on Fox News.

According to a joint release from Fox News and Beck's production company, Mercury Radio Arts, Beck "intends to transition" off the program at some point this year.

The release said the afternoon host will not be leaving the network entirely. It said that Fox and Beck's production company plan to "produce a variety of television projects" that will air both on Fox News Channel and other platforms, including Fox News' digital properties.

He'll still be working closely with FOXspew....just not in the 5pm slot..or any slot. He might be a *Guest/Contributor in front of the camera on *others* time slots..but..whose to say. We know one thing for sure.. you're wrong.

The truth is of course that Murdoch is uncomfortable with what much of beck says and has lost control of Fox news he is getting too much heat from the rest of the elites.

Beck also needs to move on and create his own media outlet - he allready earns twice as much from internet subscriptions as he does from Fox news.

Nice to see that the Only person with a mass audience exposinfg the NWO - gets continulaly slated here on ATS, such is the reach of the like of Sorros and such is the control of what happens on this forum!

I missed his opinion of the FEMA camps. I'll have to google that. As for 9/11, TPTB are not going to tolerate someone on a regular news program who questions 9/11. Being tagged as a "9/11 Truther" is the kiss of death.
As for Beck's "ambushing" of Debra Medina on 9/11 -- Medina should have been prepped to handle that issue in public. Anyone who goes public as a 9/11 Truther is going to be instantly unelectable.

And I already had an idea of how dangerous George Soros is long before I ever heard of Glenn Beck. During the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland (Jan 2008), Soros was urging the members to drop the US Dollar as reserve currency. He was voted down. If they had listened to Soros, Americans would be paying $12 a gallon for gas. I can't believe a dangerous creep like Soros is actually defended by people here.

The "Jewish Funds for Justice" (Leftist, socialist outfit) succeeded in having Glenn Beck dropped from several radio stations in NYC. (That should give you an idea of their power.) JFFJ attacked Beck for attacking Soros.

This is exactly what I was thinking. He had a surge of viewers when he and the neocons were busy hijacking the tea party movement. However, that has died down more recently leaving Beck just about as many viewers as before.

GhostLancer, you are flat out wrong about Glenn Beck calling Obama the anti-Christ. That video was made back during the 2008 presidential campaign when Beck was interviewing Hagee (sp?). It should be obvious to anyone watching the following video that Beck was joking:

Good points, it amazes me that Beck has been brave enough to even mention the FEMA camps on a TV news program. Of course, he had to back-pedal on that one. And as I posted before, being tagged as a "9/11 Truther" in public, is the kiss of death. Beck has enough problems without challenging the official stories on those issues. You have to choose your battles.

It's more important to wake up the masses about the unAmerican forces trying to hijack (or that already have hijacked) our government -- without scaring them to death -- and without challenging their most cherished illusions (i.e. the US government would never be involved in something like 9/11 or building FEMA camps).

It's probably already too late to do anything to take back our government. So many of the young have been totally brainwashed by the Communitarian Globalists. They think Soros is a good guy.

She did not say she was a truther. She said she had some questions about what happened, as do most normal people.

Beck asked if she had truthers working for her, and she said she did not know and did not care. Everyone is entitled to their opinions.

She also said that her microphone was muted while they were berating her, so she could not respond.

It was not an "ambush." It was an ambush.
