fine go ahead and outlaw corporations then say goodbye for every single thing that we use everyday in our lives.

no more homes, cars, cell phones, computers, internet, food, gas, clothes, everything we use in this country on a daily basis comes from those evil things called corporations.

who are you going to work for where are you going to get your money nowhere.

umemployement figures are obvious skewed they are much higher than being reported no matter what figures the government touts are so called "progress" revenues are down for you and the federal government because if everything was fine we would have a deficit.

i wish you people who really think of the magnitude when you make comments like those.

without then we have nothing NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!! i know for a fact that 99% cant hunt or fish or cut enough lumber to build there own home and then agian where you going to get the money to buy the land to banks are corporations to.

i swear

All new advances like color tv's; phones etc were made by American's before the big outsourcing begain in the 60's and 70's and they were done by many American manufacturers, not just one. Cutting down the big corporations would bring some momentary short term pain but with long term benefits.

People need to stop thinking about short term pain and profits as well, and think of the long term benefits to the country.

nope business and industry go to where the money is business and industry also go to where their are better human resources and their focus on education where the usas focus is getting on reality tv and not making scientists and engineers.

those two key elements are why outsourcing will never end you add the non stop ever expanding regulation makers and the nonstop laws being written.

business is being destroyed in this country the middle class is being destroyed and its not the evil businesses or those corporations the reason is that party that everyone just seems to love.

those are the facts.

Government policies is at the heart of it, where they gave tax breaks to business's to offshore and outsource. Thats so retarded in terms of the countries well being, but not for what they are trying to do.

They need to do like all other countries and implement policies, like taxing goods coming from other countries to level the playing field.

Fine, they can go to another country, but good luck selling here when you may as well hire people here to sell the product.

China and many other countries do it as well.

Those evil corporations are in the back pocket of the government implementing regulations that hurt the small business, whom employ the majority of American's in this country.

The powerful corporations though control the paycheck of politicians and through shares, Wall Street.
Those CEO's controlling those large corporations and banks are robbers and know nothing about hard work. Many of them did not start the company from the bottom up, but came onboard to gorge themselves of wealth at the expense of the workers to prop up share prices on Wall Street before they go off and retire somewhere in the Bahamas I have seen it many times through friends and family where they cut positions and laid off workers to fatten their wallets while driving the company's into the ground.

These people are worst than HITLER and need to burn in oil for eternity

What hurt the economy the most was Wall-street. They were out lending money to just about any buyer who could sign a piece of paper. Many home owners couldn't afford their house payments, resulting in the restate market crash. Some people lost their all the equity in their house, and are owing more money then their homes are worth. The banks are making it hard for home owners and small business to get a lone, because they don't have enough collateral, or equity.

The economy will eventually recover, it will just take time. Some say that it will take at least 10 years before we fully recover. High gas prices sure won't help speed things up. We have been through a depression before, and we have pulled through it. To help speed up the recovery is to try and pay down your dept, and do a side business to earn some extra cash. Stop buying made in China goods, and start buying local products that are made here in the US. Just my 2 cents worth.
