Not a regular tree. But Porcupine Tree.
A highly underated, yet, highy regarded band.
They've been around for a while, so there is a catalog of tunes.
Not Rush, not Pink Floyd.. Progressive on their own merits.

SO now, I make you climb the tree.

A few branches to get you started...Anyone care to add?

The drummer,Gavin Harrison is one of the most respectetd in the biz.
An the bassist NEVER stops grinning.

Add another song if you are a fan.
Or if your aren't a fan at the moment.. It might happen

Great band, and Steven Wilson has some relationship with Opeth, which is another great band.

Lazarus is probably my favourite song by Porcupine Tree, but definitely not the only one.

I hadn't seen that video. The sound quality is better than the other versions. Another example of their varied style.
Another great song, Thanks, and feel free to add more!

I guess I really am making you climb this tree.

Something a little more low key. Amazing audio quality, a cool guitar, and good video quality too.
Half Light

A few more branches of this tree and we may discover some cats up there. Seriously.

A rant about Ipods and the lost of the story-telling element of Album and CD formats.
Albums could be thematically relevant as a single entity. They could tell a story
Now we choose our music one song at a time. So the whole story is told in 3 and a half minutes.

The sound of Muzak

Has anyone ever seen them live?

A few more branches of this "tree" and we may find some cats. I'm serious!

Spacedoubt, thanks! Never heard it before and am listening to it again as I type. Original. Groovy and strange. Always nice to hear something good that is new (to me anyway) - very rare these days it seems! Thanks again.

Hi Cjens
Long time no type.
I'm on sort of a mission that people see this underrated, supertalented band.

Here's something for your soul.

And check out that guitar.

The cats are coming

You know I already posted that, so I'll add another.
Trains.

Ain't that the truth.
Especially weekends, vacations, and when you reach the age of about 35 to 40.
Don't waste those precious moments.

Smart Kid

This is a "headphones" song.
Or earbuds, if you use those.
Mellow, interesting lyrics.
