I am in Oklahoma and at this time the moon should be above my house! I
Can't see it anywhere! There are no clouds and nothing is blocking my view! I find it odd that the moon was huge and bright last night and tonight it's gone. It's like it just vanished! Its odd the moon isn't visible!

remember that the moon appears later and later every night.
It may be just over the horizon

Right now it should be to the East, just above the horizon. If you live in the city you probably have cityscape blocking your view.

If it were just over the horizon I would have seen It on my way home. Also I have a compass in my car and it was going nuts on my way home. Never done it before but it was going crazy! Spinning and everything!

Step 1 - Download www.stellarium.org...
Step 2 - Install Stellarium
Step 3 - Input your location in Stellarium
Step 4 - Locate the Moon
Step 5 - Verify if you had it right or not.
Step 6 - Post your findings

I notice the same thing occasionally. One night the moon will be shining nice and bright in the sky, and the next night I cant seem to find it at all no matter where I'm standing. I just assumed it was either beyond the horizon or hidden from view. But its so odd sometimes how the moon just seems to disappear for a night. Maybe the monolith on the moon is actually just a on/off switch. ^_^

Well something is going on because some of u see it and some of us dont! I just can't think of why the moon would shine bright one night and not be visible at all the next night

Time to chill out...
According to Stellarium, the Moon should be located just +4deg above the Horizon on your East.

I just saw a huge flash in the sky! I mean huge! No airplanes no helicopters! No search lights. I wonder what it was! And I still cant see the moon. I'm looking right at the horizon! Nothing blocking my view
