Many of you have probably seen one or more of the threads about the Competitiveness Forum (GCF) recently held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at which world business leaders had presentations from (amongst others) Stan Friedman stating that flying saucers are real.

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia 2011 Global Competitiveness Forum and UFOs

The fifth annual Global Competitiveness Forum (GCF) closed yesterday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Panel presentations and forum discussions took place over January 22-25, 2011. While this conference would normally be of little personal interest to me, this year’s roster of invited speakers at the conference caught my attention. Ufologist Stanton Friedman, journalist and well known British UFO authority Nick Pope, venture capitalist and well known UFO authority Jacques Vallee, and well known science writer, brilliant physicist, and History Channel UFO commentator Michio Kaku were invited to speak at this year’s GCF. The title of their presentation? Contact: Learning From Outer Space.

This is a very interesting and welcome new development.

What other familiar faces were invited to speak at the Saudi GCF? The list is a long one, but to name only a few: former British Prime Minister Tony Blair was invited to speak, the Saudi Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and former U.S. President Bill Clinton. We note that President Clinton’s name and photo were conspicuously absent from the long list of pre-announced conference speakers, but he did stand at the podium and he did speak of our world’s ongoing need for innovation. Perhaps in remaining as inconspicuous as possible, President Clinton hoped to avoid being asked any uncomfortable and possibly embarrassing questions regarding UFOs and the intelligence behind them.

I thought it worth starting a separate thread to let you know that videos of the presentations made to those world business leaders are now available for members of the public to watch on Youtube. I have embedded them below:









Given the amount of speculation that took place regarding the fact that these individuals would be speaking at the GFC event, I hope these videos of what they actually presented at that event are of interest.

thank you for helping clarify what actually went down at this event.
there were so many conflicting storys that i lost interestbut this really sheds light on what went down.more interesting than i origionally thought would be too.
i still believe they are withholding vast ammounts of info on the topic for whatever reasons untill some "rite or oppertune" moment. for whatever reason its hard to see how it could be in the benifit for the general population in regards to holding evidence/info or whatever back, but in the sence that this is the closest thing since the disclosure project that has gotten any sort of attention in this community i am still satisfied with the event.
sad they have to base the conference on a monatary value of relevance of the ufo phenomenon tho.

Something about this entire event smells bad. Maybe it's the list of commercial sponsors. How can your business appear concerned with the environment and still make you stinking rich? I hope Tony Blair sat on his free iPad.

Yes, its not often that this sort of calibre of speakers gets together to give co-ordinated presentations about UFOs - so I think these videos are interesting regardless of who was (or wasn't) in the audience for each presentation.

one positive on the exuberant cost of the event is that it filters out a certain amount of "bottom feeders" and probably reaches an audience of better healed participants. that's just my opinion.

Thanks for bringing these videos to the forum. I find it really interesting that Vallee, Pope and Friedman are speaking about UFOs at this kind of event. You have to kind of wonder whose idea it was, and why?

I think Stan Friedman and Nick Pope both give consistently impressive presentations of their viewpoint. Both are also very good at coming up with pithy soundbites. I know that Nick Pope has had media training and I think Stan's presentational skills have been honed for years of practice.

These interviews/presentations are excellent, thank you for finding and presenting them here for us to see. Here is to hoping for a coming disclosure be it this year, the next or a few decades from now.

Thanks for posting these I have been waiting years it seems to see these. Most interested in Stand and Nicks Popes speech. Maybe the "sponsors" just wanted to know what they knew, if they knew who had engineered what craft such as the TR3B.. well they know their dirty little secrets are still safe.

Unfortunately, from the 1950s onwards virtually every heightening of publicity (whether in the form of a wave of press coverage of UFO reports or increased numbers of movies regarding aliens) has resulted in speculation as to Disclosure - although in early decades it was discussed using slightly different words.

While often predicted during the last 50 or so years as being imminent, disclosure has not taken place.

I'm sure that some manufacturers of stealth aircraft and other unusual airplanes have gotten a kick out of pronouncements of some UFO experts over the years. I think most serious researchers would accept that some sightings are caused by secret projects - the debate tends to be over how significant such a cause actually is and whether there are any UFO sightings that can't be explained by secret projects and other mundane causes.

Everyone by now should know I am an experiencer with other Beings etc, etc. etc. I can tell you from the things I have seen...been shown....told just about everything is out in the open including pictures and so on.

They have everything in the open and they can do this because it won't be believed by most and many aren't even interested, they have more pressing things in their lives to tend to.

I try to observe shows videoes etc. about things dealing with this subject and I think its interesting that Disney has a movie coming out with one that has the characters looking more Grey like and the movie Paul with a Grey in it. Take about keeping Aliens in the limelight and yes I know anything Alien is a money maker.

I was watching the show named The Event and in one segment the daughter just found out about her Dad being an Alien and she asked him, where are you from and he said far away from a place known as NGC253...of course I never heard of this place but I know things are coming out preparing you all about Aliens so I got up and went to my computer and looked it up and guess what.... there is such a place.

My thoughts are why of all places would this show use this location? I would think with this just supposedly being a story they would use a place many might have heard of like Orion so on and so forth.

I believe it is all slowllllllllllyyyyyy coming out I just wonder who will or what will be the one thing that will finally give those the proof they so dearly need......................... to believe.

But some people have been expressing such views about a slow process of Disclosure (although it used to be known as "The Education Programme" before the word "Disclosure" was coined...) for decades...

So, best not to hold your breath.
