On most forums you can go see the most recent threads and if any catch your interest, you log in (if required) to post. No problem in going straight
to the thread.
But here when you log in to respond to something, a totally different selection of threads comes up and you can spend an age searching for the one you
want. Bugs the hell out of me.
Why?
members are not shown all the adverts, and if ATS is like "it was" after member input reachs particular levels the adverts again drop in%....but hey
I'm sure a mod will be here to tell you the 100% real way it works.
its kind of a bonus...for being a member

Could be the way you've customized your view. You can actually exclude forums from appearing in your Recent Posts list. Of course, whatever
customization you've done won't apply unless you're logged in.

There are also a couple of forums that don't show up UNLESS you're logged in, and have the required number of posts to view them.

Most likely it's because we get 8,000 posts a day, that's several a minute, if it takes you a couple minutes to log in there could be many new posts
that have pushed the one you seek down the list. The easiest way to avoid that is by checking what forum you're viewing and go directly to that
forum's over view page once you log in.
