Hmmm...translate.google.com tells me it's Swedish, but doesn't translate it into anything. Weird.

The 218 at the beginning of the number though is the International calling code for Libya.

I believe it is a prayer. Ya rab means something along the lines of 'oh lord'

Nothing popped up on translate for me , found that Hamna means "a muslim name, means sparrow of paradise."

I believe by google searching just the words Usterna and Arhamna that those are names. Usterna seems to be a surname and Arhamna can be used as either first name or a surname.

well how bad are things in that country?

Hmmm. This is sad if it's true.

It appears to me that a Libyan protester is just sending texts out to random numbers. I don't know what your position is on the matter, but if *I* received the same text or something similar from someONE similar, I would text back something like, "Good luck. I hope you get your freedom. Your friends in the USA"

يا رب is ya rab which means Oh Lord. The "na" ending is the suffix added to Arabic verbs which means "to us"; us being the direct object of the verb. I'm playing around with the first word "usterna" but "arhamna" or ارحمنا means have mercy on us.

Would you mind if I did? And if it's cool, is that the exact number? Because I have no idea how to send an international text.

Edit - I think it could be done for free on the net.
