Not for this one obviously, but I found a pic of a bacon flavored car air freshener in a prank catalog and Id use it... Heff would rig the contest for me if I promised to buy him one
Well.. either that or the bacon flavored gum.

OK...dumb blonde confusion....

You do have an avatar, in my eyes....newer look, but I like the older one better

WTH is the difference between an avatar and a mini-background "thingie"-- I thought those had to deal with colors!

Thanks in advance for anyone's response.

Avatars take up a small space on your mini profile - mini backgrounds are a bit larger and fill the entire area of your mini profile

What about my avatar?

Does it make me look fat?

I created an image with the exact dimensions that Skeptic instructed everyone to use in this thread.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Two hundred by seven hundred I believe. Anyway, I placed a clear 170X240 image in the Avatar. Then I placed the image that I thought would be fine but the image kept repeating. It was crazy. How do you get this to work?

I know there's a couple of fantastic designers amongst the members because I've seen their work for others

The dimensions I use are 180 x 480. And there is a clear gif image to overlay as an avatar in my media portal. If you opt to make something in the above dimensions the clear gif image is here.

Yup. i second this. 180X480 is ideal. it is what my template is, so all avatars i make end up that size (wel...background, whatever, you know what i mean).

Thanks Hefficide. I will try this as soon as is practical. I do appreciate it my friend. Also thank you to my good friend, bigfatfurrytexan for weighing in on that reply. Hey, who knows the contest might be a good idea. I know I wouldn't win it but it would be a fun contest nonetheless.

Yours would be up there as one of the best alien avatars I've seen.

Do you know what would make your avatar even more interesting? Add just one single LIVE tree as a symbol of hope!

I don't know why but I really like the Human_Alien avatar, it makes me smile everytime it pops up.

It reminds me of an old school teacher.
