The below image was put in the original thread, found HERE, stating that the OP found a strange photo, usnure of what he found in his search for maps pertaining to safe areas for the "march pole shift". What turned up was a 1992 computer simulation screen shot, with grainy text, also below.

USA AVHRR RED-SPECTRUM
SATELLITE IMAGE
ACCESSED BY: IMGISP ver. 7.4
PROCESSED BY: IMPROCESS 4.1
SHOWING RESULT OF TECHTONIC PROGRESSION
ELAPSED TIME UNKNOWN
THIS IS A "WORST CASE" ESTIMATE
PREPARED JULY 1992

From what we can easily gather, this image is a theoretical map of tectonic plate movement over an amount of time that is unknown. this will most likely result in what you see as the giant influx of water that you see that has devastated the western, eastern seaboard, and the New Madrid states area.

Typical tectonic plate movement happens at about 2-10cm a year, so it takes millions of years for any real change to occur, hence the transformation of Pangea into the continents we have today. There are 3 types of plates that occur, divergent, convergent, and transform, or strike-slip. What we are focusing on here, is the divergent plate. When it diverges with the other plate(s), it leaves a valley/depression where the crust previously was. An example of this can be seen in the Marianas Trench, at almost 7 miles deep.

There are several plates along the USA currently, which will eventually result in the tearing apart of the nation in an unknown amount of time. The Cocos plate, in the pacific ocean, is diverging with the North American Plate, creating the water problem we see in California. This will also create the mountain feature you see in what is/was New Mexico. The same exact thing happens with the Eastern Seaboard, except due to the fact that the New Madrid Fault Line runs so deep through the country, it may crack, forming a new tectonic plate(which has happened in the past with no consequences). The New Madrid Fault will do the same thing with the North American Plate over time, creating the gap we see in the Mississippi river, creating the mountains we can also see where the current Appalachians are, but more exaggerated. Again, the same will happen with the East Coast.

The bad news? Potential millions will die.

The good news? Not for millions of years!

If your wondering where I got my information on tectonic movement... I payed attention in school...

Either way i live in Kalifornia, in the northern valley.
I likes it here and will stay here, the weather is better here than anywhere in the world.
It is never too hot for more than say 10 days a year and same goes for the cold, other than that it stays a nice cool to cozy feeling.
If i move smewhere else i will sweat to death or freeze to death, then i have to worry about other things such as volcanoes or oilspills, biological epidemics Etc.
I can swim so....i'm just fine with this area!
Plus i got a blow up raft!

I hear ya there. I'm in California too, but near LA, so I'm in trouble for everything; fire, earthquakes, mudslides, attacks on LA, Port attacks, illegals, etc...

hmmm, so apparently your schooling has taught you --> that even though an 11foot plate adjustment occurred in New Zealand during 9/2010, that it did what ?? absorbed into thin air? unlikely.

considering the 'field' of tectonics is barely 50yrs old ... we have a lot to learn and much to assume along the way. so lets' begin ...

yes, i agree the above is a simulation ... and so is the March FEMA exercise ... and so are the requisitions ... and the off site, 'secret' storage of toiletries confiscated at airports ... and the Council of Governors ... and the inter-galactic disturbance delivered by the near-colliding comet ... and dare i go on?

However, to immediately dismiss such an important find (dated when? 1992) is just plumb silly.
i could list what ifs forever but What IF?

the government is planning for similar?
the people are simply expendable?
the scenario involves a 'sudden' rather gradual change?
this is the expected result from the 'coming event' talked about for decades?
the image was provided by an outside source?
this generates more questions than answers??? wouldn't that be a Good thing?

ok just for fun ... imagine an 11ft wall of water crashing the beach ... now, try to relate that concept to the magma beneath our surface. Eventually, it will impact everywhere. some places stronger than others but a world-wide ripple effect is most likely to occur.
the tectonic plates could be compared to a loose lid on a boiling pot of water. Left over the boiling water long enough, it will be removed, naturally.

im sorry, when did i say that it wouldnt do anything? never, thats right. the energy from that event is dispersed throughout the earth in an EARTHQUAKE. also, i never dismissed what the government was doing to the New Madrid Fault line, you sir, jump to conclusions WAY to quickly without even fully reading the thread. A change of the magnitude showed on the graph happening at once would release so much energy that it would tear apart the planet, so dont even try to act smart.

also, a nearby comet would have no effect at all. we have comets rain by monthly, larger comets every century, and no visible effects have ever occurred. (Hale Bop, Haley's, leonid shower etc.)

this ma'am isn't jumping to any conclusions ... it would appear, you are.
the likelihood of the tectonic movement being displaced by an earthquake is next to nil or it would have already occurred (proximity to Java, Japan and all) ...so that is pure assumption.

I didn't mention New Madrid, are you confusing my post with another?
Also, i never said what you say i said ...

when did i say that it wouldnt do anything? never, thats right.
i must admit, you sure are a pleasant conversationalist (sarcasm in case you missed it)

and you assume i didn't read your dissertation or should i say copy/paste.
"tear apart the planet" ???? and you claim others are fear-mongering?

the graph doesn't reflect 'magnitude' of anything other than anticipated plate subduction and the residual effect.
i'm beginning to wonder if you have a clue what that graph indicates.

also, a nearby comet would have no effect at all.

you are free to believe what you choose, but this time ... unlike any other ... there is a real chance of compounded effects ... no baloney. do you own homework.
no comet has ever passed closer than our satellites are positioned (this one will). it is on a near-collision course at two separate points of passing. and, it will be occurring during a max moon cycle.
oh and btw, i don't need to act smart, i paid attention beyond school.

I would like you to read the last line of the OP. This thread will be debunked here.......

Attention everyone.

Why would OP go to the full extent of creating a new thread to discredit my picture?

Remember, I told everyone in my thread that the picture could be fake and I never backed it.

So why is OP so infatuated with debunking me? He didn't reply in my thread?

SO STRANGE.

Perhaps OP knows something or fears the pic.

I am in full agreement. Why would the OP in this thread fail to raise his concerns about the picture in the existing thread which more than adequately fulfils all the 'angles' of discussion? BeachGuy123 is presenting an opinion about the image, and as a result that opinion should have been recorded in the existing thread. Mods - this thread should be closed.

Also - it smacks very keenly of "nothing to see here, don't worry your little heads about it, move along please..."
