AZ Congresswoman assassination scenario has MKULTRA profile, drug & space target

The mass political assassination attack in Tucson, AZ on Saturday January 8, 2011 that as of 2:44 pm pst had left six people dead and eighteen shot were shot during the attack has a marked MKULTRA profile, and of suppression of drug cartel investigation and of expansion the U.S. space program as one of its effects

One news report states, “The suspect in the shooting of Congresswoman Giffords and others, Jared Loughner, posted a You Tube video three weeks ago indicating that "in a few days, you know I’m conscience dreaming!" as well as a MySpace post saying goodbye to friends.

“In a You Tube video attributed to Jared Lee Loughner, which was posted approximately about three weeks ago, Loughner states, in part: “This video is my introduction to you! My favorite activity is conscience dreaming: the greatest inspiration for my political business information. Some of you don’t dream – sadly.

The story goes from there to his Youtube accounts and postings. Pretty much a nut job.

But, what made him that way?

Nut job, maybe....but MKUltra?...Not likely. MKUltra would, in effect be designed to go after prominent figures that were " deemed " a threat. This woman was not a threat based on what I've read. She really didn't amount to much as a Congress Person to begin with?

Well.. anyone can write anything on examiner.com; not really a "news" source, although they do give a "voice" to a lot of people. OP article is interesting but imo non-compelling. Seems stitched together and grabbing at straws.

It seems interesting, just seems unlikely. To me, it's more likely that this kid was just plain "disturbed."
Being able to shuffle off our poor decisions onto something seemingly ethereal, like MKUltra, would be easy enough; but that's the nature of clandestine mind-control programs, no? Real but not real and relegated to the backwaters of the internet... but still rooted in reality.

The guy seems like he was off mentally. He comments did not make 100% sense, it's like an early stage of word salad, a symptom of schizophrenia or manic state of bipolar.

Believe it or not, Jesse Ventura's new book about Conspiracies, has a chapter about the MK Ultra program, and gives someone who doesn't know much a pretty good insight as to what the program was about. May want to check it out.

Barnes and noble book store has some good books about the program as well, I skimmed through a few, and they are defiantly a good read.

Well, I saw this thread before and expected to see it on the site after some news had come out didn't expect much of it but...

It could be MKULTRA. It could be used to foment a need for new legislation. Perhaps the targets are not the reason, but the aftermath will be. Let's watch carefully what kind of legislation and bills Congress attempts to pass over the next year. (They are already starting- inquire if you are interested). None of the targets in 9-11 were the official targets either, and most people do not believe the "official" story surrounding that incident anymore. The target in 9-11 was the American people- to convince them to pass legislation such as the Patriot Act and conduct multiple theater wars. Perhaps that is the case here, as well.

What we can trace is the testimony that is slowly being leaked out about Loughner by his past and current friends. He was a kid who loved music, believed in peace, listened to Jimi Hendrix. He was described as kind-hearted and loving. In 2006, he dropped out of high school, supposedly due to alcohol poisoning. People noticed he was a bit out of sorts, which can be attributed to his drug use. According to a friend, he stopped doing drugs, expressed a desire to clean up his act and applied for the military. That is when his behavior began to change, according to his best friend. He became crazy at this point, completely changed his ideology and personality. The military claims he was denied entrance, although no official reason has been given. (Schumer is saying it was because he tested positive for drugs, which contradicts the testimony of his best friend, but other news reports are saying it was because he was previously charged with a drug charge). Regardless, this is claimed to be the turning point by the person closest to him up until the shooting, his best friend. Perhaps this is the point when he was intercepted by the military for mind-control programming. His parents' neighbors purported that this was also around the time when Jared went missing for a week and could be found staying at a motel. This is also interesting because he went to this motel again the night before the shooting. Either way, after his contact with the military, he started to show signs of becoming the Jared Loughner we know today. And anyone who knows about MKULTRA knows Tuscon, Arizona was the breeding grounds for some of the experiments.

The official story is not adding up. This much is apparent. We have a doctored photo, convenient evidence which spells everything out, such as notes in his safe saying "I Planned Ahead", "My Assassination" and "Giffords," yet he supposedly ran away after the shooting which doesn't make sense for someone who wants to be caught. Now, he is being attached to every fringe group under the sun. I thought it was over until they recently claimed there was a picture of him wearing woman's underwear holding the gun (Oswald, anyone?). So, I am to believe he is a socialist, a communist, a tea party member, a homosexual, someone obssessed with 2012 prophecy, 9-11 conspiracy theories, etc. What isn't he? It sure does make the public distrust all of these groups now.

Also, look out for other events in the near future. This one alone will not be enough to pass through the legislation they want. I believe there will be more to come.

You raise a good point, in a now closed thread that got me signing up to ATS they focused on the connection to Giffords etc but as you said, it could be just a coincidence that someone used to make it happen so that US law could be changed or at the very least modified in some way.

What about the Federal judge that was killed? A federal judge seems like a more important target, and they are appointed for life. I have started looking for info on Judge Roll but haven't had much time to look yet.

I know I am just grasping at straws but what if Judge Roll was the true target? Apparently he decided to stop by after church so he could have a word with Giffords. Maybe he was summoned there.

It also struck me as odd that Loughner empties a thirty round clip and somehow did not finish off his alleged primary target. If he hated Giffords so much, and this whole thing was about her then why wouldn't he hit her again just to be sure. One graze shot then he turns the gun on others.

If he was as crazy as they are having us believe, and hated Gifford as much as it seems, wouldn't he unload the whole clip in giffords?

Since day one I have felt something about this whole case is just not right. Seems like a lot of smoke and mirrors going on, and my bs detector is beeping.

What if the true target was the American people or more specifically those who are suspicious of the government. In particular, it seems they have targeted the right-wing, immediately latching Jared on to their movement in almost every news article I've read. In this document created by the Department of Homeland Security on rightwing extremism, they state the following on page 8: www.fas.org... "A number of law enforcement actions and external factors were effective in limiting the militia movement during the 1990s and could be utilized in today's climate. Following the 1995 bombing of the... building in Oklahoma City, the militia movement declined in total membership... because many members distanced themselves from the movement as a result of the intense scrutiny militias received after the bombing."
