www.rnw.nl

Firefighters and specialist army units are fighting to control a massive fire at a chemical storage plant in Moerdijk, south of Rotterdam, the Telegraaf reports.

People upwind of the fire are being told to stay indoors and keep doors and windows shut.

The justice ministry has declared a stage 4 alarm – the highest

Evacute go the hell out of there.

If the black smoke is heading your way it will go in your lungs and kill you. Pack a bag and get out.... That was like in the world trade towers they told people to go back to wrok everything is fine go back inside.

Why so they can come and take me out in a body bag.

Listen if your on a computer you have the knowledge to know you need to get as far away from that place as possible.. Check weather real quick look at the jetstream and make sure your not down wind...\\

Good Luck

And GOD BLESS YOU ALL

RB out....

In addition to staying indoors with doors and windows shut, make sure your home is a few degrees warmer than the outside air. That will give you "positive pressure" and help to keep air from infiltrating your home. If it gets too bad, start to tape the doors and windows.

Good luck to you.

Just read the latest news. According to the Moerdijk major the smoke is not a health risk. Local residents are no longer asked to stay inside.

I will try and verify this....

Man, that's a lot of smoke! Remind me of a humongous storage of tires that burned to a crisp several years ago in Bucharest.

Not even masks are going to keep you safe from all the mumbo jumbo that was released in the air.

Hello Sinter , how have you been ? You should probably stay indoors bro , that mess looks pretty bad . What is the purpose of storing these chemicals there ? Are they waste-products or are they stored there while awaiting transfer to other locations ?

You take care bubba , and keep us posted .

Hello,

I live in Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland. The smoke is here now, people are having a burning sensation inside their mouth, difficulty breathing and they report there is no worry for the health of civilians?!

There are atleast 10 tanks holding 23.500 liters each, other sources say it's 400.000 liters....

The chemical compound that is presumed to be stored there is K13-004 or K13.004 (these are the same).

Does anybody know anything about this chemical?

Regarding the noise, check the ATS search fuction...there are several threads started lately about this in the US, oddly enough they claim a helicopter type noise too....

Posted one hour ago.

Thank you guys for your support. I'm save I'm not that close.
I still have not been able to verify the non toxic smoke article I read. Dumbass did verify a couple of posts above.

As far as I'm up to date they say that the fire is controllable, but still spreading.

I can be mistaken but smoke is bad for you always, right ?
