The supposed fact have caused an international meeting, with surprising ending.
Will astronomers from North American Space Agency (NASA) and the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence [Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence,
SETI] actually found an artificial signal of one of Jupiter's largest moons, Ganymede, during the 1980s? According to some researchers, the answer is
yes.
This scenario seems to have occurred. According to the author Rupert Matthews - with almost two hundred books and an expert on historical themes or
military - the information was transmitted to him as real, a NASA astronomer who was working in close collaboration with SETI.
While it may seem for some, very absurd, it is worth recalling that it was only in recent decades that experts confirmed the strong evidence of liquid
oceans beneath Europa, Ganymede and Callisto, the three largest moons of Jupiter. And as everyone knows, water is the element that must be present for
life to develop, so while it looks as unlikely, not impossible.
This signal seems to have been detected, according to the author and his sources, only for a short period of time, not repeating itself since then, we
may say that these aliens were just visiting the site and would not be permanent residents of that moon.
As for the likely fact, that's what Matthews reports in his book Alien Encounters: True Life Stories of Aliens, UFOs and Other Extra-Terrestrial
Phenomena [Alien Encounters: Real Life Stories of Aliens, UFOs and Other Phenomena Extraterrestrials, Arcturus Foulsham, 2008 ].
Professionals from NASA and SETI captured on the radio, as the stories of Matthews, a clue that would contain a message in the mid 80s. The signal was
coming from Ganymede, Jupiter's moon, and definitely artificial in nature.
It was implemented through several computers and no sense deciphered as to the meaning of it. Then-President Ronald Reagan, was notified and an
international conference set up to determine how to make an attempt to contact the intelligence he was sending the message.
Eventually, they decided to send a signal to the exact place of origin in Morse code, which was considered to be easier to decode an alien
civilization. It was then transmitted. "We received the signal, but do not understand. Please resend using this language and broadcasting code."
Immediately after referral, the mysterious sign of Ganymede ceased transmission. Everyone thought they would receive the answer in Morse code in a
short period of time.
Work by Rupert Matthews, but with interesting content, day after day and week after no signal, the authorities began to lose hope of actually
receiving it. Finally, after more than a month, a signal was detected, which was the original source of Ganymede on radio and, incredibly, was in
Morse code.
Eagerly, as the author, NASA scientists which would be translated into direct contact with a non-terrestrial intelligence. And she said: "We were not
talking to you."
So this would be our first direct contact with an extraterrestrial civilization? If so found, it can be seen in a positive or negative way. Have they
contacted us saying they were not talking to us would indicate that we are not substantial or developed enough for them. However, they also indicate
that there are several companies in our interplanetary galactic neighborhood.

I dont know if this is true. Nor do I know the author nor his credibility. But if that happened, it was the funniest response to a program that
searches for radio signals from aliens could receive.
Hey "We were not talking to you."
