Before you ask, yes, I did use the search function on ATS before posting this question. If it's up here already, please direct me to it and accept my apologies.

What I'm asking about is the photo discussed in the following interview that Whitley Strieber conducted with Bill Birnes:

This is very compelling stuff, and I'd like to see the pic for myself.

Of course, the skeptic in me is very cognizant of the fact that all mammals pretty much look the same during various stages of embryo and fetus development, which could, of course, cause the uninitiated to perhaps look at a cow fetus and be startled by its resemblance to a human one. "Ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny," as the theory goes.

That's the one he's finding.

It seems like beast that's born from a cow.

the head and face formed like of a human

and the front legs looks like a human arms.

It's very strange, I'm not sure what to make of it..

Freak of nature or linked to cattle mutilations/abductions?

No, those are definitely not the pics, and that is definitely not the case, that we're talking about. Please listen to the interview.

I found screen captures from the UFO Hunters episode, and they include pics of the fetus:

preview.tinyurl.com...

That image gallery was linked to from this site:

www.realufos.net...

Nothing very startling or conclusive about those pics. They're saying the fetus has a human-shaped head. The main thing that makes it special is that it was taken from the body of a cow that a mysterious helicopter had allegedly been trying to steal.

It's related though, still the same strange phenomena.

Creeps me out, too.

I've seen the pictures, I've read the story. My opinion is that some people want to see what they imagine. If a human was born from a cow, there's nothing in the anomaly to call it an alien. If UFO HUNTERS show a picture of a strange being, there's nothing in the anomaly to call it an alien.

You people want to believe so much you grasp at straws. Critical thinkers you are not.

Who's "you people?" I was already providing a skeptical explanation in my OP before I even saw the pics. Then I found the pics, and you didn't see me jumping to any conclusions about them. I would say "birth defect" before I'd say hybrid or alien.

That is a sculpture- apparently by Patricia Piccinini- it's a pretty well known hoax, anyhow.

Thanks for the screencaps.

Here is the UFO Hunters episode, the pics are discussed at about 5 and a half minutes:

UFO Hunters Underground Bases Dulce 3 5

One of the possibilities Pat Uskert mentions is just a deformed cow Fetus, but Bill Birnes seems to think that's a ridiculous suggestion.

They asked what happened to the fetus and the answer is was sent to a vet for analysis, so, what did the vet say? I didn't hear the answer to that but I'd like to know.

Kewl you watched it. Anything new on Dulce or not worth the time? With all these dispatches getting us ready for nuclear war I need to stock my food and firewood reserves

Not to worry Zorgon, i'm pretty sure her father was a real cowboy. In case of Nuclear war, you do know not to stack your firewood next to your food, right? I have my alien friends checking to make sure none of the nuclear weapons work, also promised them they could eat all the politicians of every nation that attempted to fire one. So, not to worry.

I don't understand your reasoning. Google it if you don't believe me. Of course, I don't know the motives behind the creation of the sculpture- it was either made as a deliberate attempt to fool (i.e hoax) or purely as "art", then someone noticed it and 1 of 2 things could have happened:
a) they were aware it was not real, and again, deliberately tried to fool the public
or
b) they were not aware it was not real, and genuinely believed it to be authentic

If B was the case, then technically it was not a hoax, you are right. However, judging by your mediocre grasp of the English language, I hardly think you are in any place to try and correct me in that instance. At the very least, there was no need to resort to personal insults without any reasonable explaination given.

I do yes... no problem. And those three trees produce wood faster than I can trim it

NOT a good idea
I usually feed my friends GOOD food.... that way they stay friends

So, not to worry.

Edwards AFB to the west, Nellis AFM in tow, Area 51 to the North, Hawthorne NV submarine base, Tonopah Area 52 where all the latest good stuff is, Fallen Nv Top Gun School... China Lake NAVY base with all the cool laser weapons and a few dozen others.... they gotta get past those FIRST

No worries here

It's not a new episode, but the reason I watched it again was that Bill Birnes claimed in the OP piece that it was that episode which caused TPTB (in this case a complicated ownership web of the network dictated by advertiser requests- the pharmaceutical companies were specifically mentioned by Bill) to cancel the show. I'm pretty skeptical of that claim but I wanted to evaluate it nonetheless and see what was actually said in the episode to determine if I thought Big Pharma might have any problems with it.

It seems like a stretch, but if they were getting upset about new legislation proposals forbidding them from growing human ears on the backs of mice or whatever, which were precipitated after that episode aired, I can see where they might be upset by that.

But I don't think anything in the episode itself was really "new".

I think the show may have been scolled for graphic content rather than what Bill was instigating as a reason to shut his show down. Any time you have dead things, animals or such you may have people that complain.
Some people bash UFO shows even the one's who believe! It Cracks me up.
As a skeptic, I love these shows, No matter if you believe or not, there is always good info you can get from a show.
So maybe the real mystery is why can't a UFO show last? Friggin ghost hunters, ghost international and shows like that are still going, but UFO shows never last, Mufon's UFO Files gone, project blue book's show long gone,
Ancient Aliens soon will be gone just because you can only talk about the ancient past for so long.
But one thing is for sure, Bill is a entertaining cookie, he will be on the next UFO show.

Obviously someone is bored and just wants to smack a new member around with nonsense. Again...

I remember the airing of the UFO Hunters - Dulce episode and thought at the time that Birnes may have gone too far when he aired the pictures of that weird calf fetus. I have also listened to the bit of the Whitley Streiber interview that was released on YouTube. I would like to hear all of it personally. I get the feeling that the interview was cut off in order to take some of Birnes comments into the context of Streiber saying they had this "mystical experience." If you missed that part, listen to the first full half of the video. It's a marketing teaser to get you to buy a subscription. I can't be the only that gets that?
