Found that on youtube. It works. Could somebody with netknowledge alaborate on that? A simple joke with redirect somebody did?

In Canada .ca it gose to a Masonic lodge in Alberta .

Anyone could have purchased those domains and redirected them. It's easy to do.

A quick simple check on whois will tell you that both addresses were purchased through Godaddy. I highly doubt the U.S. government purchases web addresses through such a venue. The .com is a private owner (costs about $10 per year for this feature) The .us is owned by a gentleman in Georgia.
