Getting Rich from the TSA Naked Body Scanners (Soros & Chertoff former HS secretary)

With all the commotion over the invasiveness of the naked body scanners used by the United States Transportation Security Administration (TSA), one question that has been ignored is who is profiting from TSA’s use of the body scanners? Mark Hemingway and Tim Carney at The Examiner discovered the shameful answer: George Soros, Michael Chertoff, and a number of lobbyists.

Both Soros and Chertoff are profiting from the naked body scanners by way of the company Rapiscan, whose contract is worth $173 million. Lobbyists for this company include Susan Carr, a former senior legislative aide to Rep. David Price (D-N.C.) who is coincidentally chairman of the Homeland Security Subcommittee.

Former Homeland Security secretary Michael Chertoff was “flacking for Rapiscan,” writes Tim Carney of The Examiner:

After the undie-bomber attempt on Christmas 2009, Chertoff went on a media tour promoting the use of these scanners, without disclosing that he was getting paid by Rapiscan, one of the two companies currently contracted by TSA to take a nude picture of you at the airport.

This is totally absurd! One hand just keeps washing the other while we the puppets keep paying for it financially and with our rights.

Follow the money!
I mentioned this in another thread. It is always good to examine and connect the lines.
If you follow the money behind every action it will take you straight to the perpetrator,
originator, thief.

The public outcry over pat downs now has Americans begging for the full body scanners we were valiantly fighting against just a few short months ago.

Gosh, nobody wants our full body scanners...something about radiation and x rays and personal privacy. Hummm, I wonder what might get people to think these are actually a good idea?
Pat downs! First we have to mail some explosives with FED EX...then just sit back and let the TSA do the work for us. Isn't America beautiful? And the people are so gullible. We could sell snow in Alaska if we had a mind to. It is just a matter of getting them to want it.

People think this is some sort of coincidence.

You can bet he was pitching the full body scanners to India and elsewhere. Sort of like a "mad Avon Lady" but with more far reaching, and potentially harmful, repercussions.

And yes, I am also certain for one reason or another, perhaps in a ransom like fashion, or mutual annihilation way, a great many conservative GOP establishment members have Obama and all American's by the shorties.

This is a good find.. Thanks for making the clear link between the money, the politicians, and the Naked Body TSA company.. Posts like this help everyone understand the true reason that the TSA wants these things.. Combine this with the NY councilman story that just came out.. which said that the things don't even work.. and that J*rkoff got the 350M contract for these on the sly...

Good find - I was just going to post that the CEO of OSI Systems (one of the 2 companies that make the scanners) went with Obama to India.

I think there is another portion to the story that everyone seems to be missing. If you break it down and look at what these scanners are a response to. One can see another guilty party..

There are many reasons why its so easy for a terrorist to unsuspectingly board an airliner with nefarious intentions. And there are many reasons that gives people a reason to exercise the ability to travel a vast distance in an unprecedented length of time.

People are acting like its there right to be able to travel across the country in 4-6 hours.. whatever it is. I just dont understand that mentality. People go out of their way to create these lifestyles, that are totally unecessary.
Its just making the world more complicated than it needs to be.

Giving power and oppurtunity to bottom feeders like Soros.

You could go after Soros's money by using the False Claims Act/Constitution and say his scanners are illegally holding images.

If you won the Federal Government would have to award you 3x whatever Soros's contract was for.

Body scanners do what for security that a strip search or good pat-down wouldn't?

What about the health effects? The current position that they're safe is totally flawed. It takes years for medical equipment to be certified, yet these things are installed in weeks and haven't been scrutinized for safety.
