i've compiled more coloured scanning electron micrograph photos,which show incredibly detailed images in 3D.

i find these fascinating so i though i share them with you all.

if ever you wanted to know what alien life forms look like out there in space,then these pics would give you a good insight i'm guessing..

What the heck! Are you sure this one didn't come from a sci fi flick? Looks like the spice worms from Dune.
I have never seen fangs on a worm or larvae or whatever that is, crazy!

These things are incredible.
Hairy little critters aren't they?
I wonder how they manage to control all those appendages.
I also bet they can play a mean guitar or drum solo.

Good God man!!! those are frightening pictures I'm glad it takes a microscope to see them this way. I bet these things are all over the place. It would be cool to put the names of the critters under the pics. Sci Fi movies should use some of these things as characters....talk about alien looking! S@F!

that is infact a common maggot,the colours are what the electron microscope brings up,to get the detail,but hey i hear what ya saying,its mind boggleing.

that one is a cat flea.amazeing to see the common cat flea is infact a beatifull creature to look at.

i have all there names...i try and label them, for you all...

and yes,some of these photos have been magnified a million times...invisible to the naked eye...its a whole new alien world at that micro level.

The 'Dune' bug and the hairy guy right underneath it that looks like Darth Walrushead are my favourites. I sure wouldn't want to meet that thing in a dark alley...

If those things had another few feet and pounds on them, al quaida would be the least of our worries.

Great pictures ......Monstrous and beautiful at the same time......... Is it just me I'm left with a niggly itch all of a sudden........
