WOW! I can't believe I'm still alive!

My family and I have just emerged from our underground bunker where we've been sequestered since hearing the news of the predicted November 6, nuclear attack. While we are lucky to be alive, our home has been leveled, our city is a virtual nuclear wasteland, and we are now bald.

We have gathered our belongings and have secured them in bundles on the end of large sticks to carry over our shoulders. But where do we go? This is like the movie, "The Road." In fact, I'm going so far as to say that "The Road" was a warning from those in the movie industry who were trying to get a secret message out to us while the Illuminati had it's back turned. But, did we listen? No!

If we would just pay more attention to television shows like "The Simpsons," we could thwart these attacks, but we are a stupid species! We think "The Simpsons" is just a cartoon! How lame of us! Homer Simpson has imparted more prophecies that have come true than Sylvia Brown or The Amazing Kreskin!

Now look at us! Left to walk the Earth living off a nuclear wasteland while having to dodge 50 foot ants and lizards that are 20 stories high! This didn't have to happen.

Why didn't we just listen.

The worse thing about these BS warnings is that when the real warning comes, no one will listen and everyone will be taken off guard.

That's always the case, in every disaster, just read history and you will see.

Oozyism, omg, that movie was the most depressing piece of film I have ever viewed in my life. I could not finish it. I hope you find a way to enjoy it, because I seriously couldn't take it.

you couldnt finish it? whats the point of watching a movie if you dont even want to see the ending? you must not have liked the film,

i loved that movie, even though it was so extremly depressing, now add to that it was released in theaters on thanksgiving, imagine how depressed the movie goers were,

I am confused... as I see it there are three possibilities here:

1) Either I missed the apocalypse. I drink and never leave the house so it's possible.
2) This is a brilliant statement about hyperbole and falling into herd mentalities regarding predictions.
3) The OP lives in Detroit and is describing reality, but misinterpreting the meaning.
