What is this K on my mini profile thing????

It might have been there forever, I don't know, but there is a "K" in me profile.. I have no idea what it means.

I know W is the ranking or something so when I see 36 I know it means I have a wats level of 36 through some wacky system of calculation I couldn't understand if I wanted to...

So what does my K stand for?

(ps, I did a search, plus manually went through the Board and Business and did not see a thread about the K..)

K = Karma

Karma is factors based heavily upon your Star to Post Ratio combined with Applause and Flags. It is a counterbalance to the WATS system of (Flags*5(Stars)).

Mines holding steady at 17, even after lying, so much for karma.

I'd ask if there was a "top list" for the K like W but I guess that wouldn't make sense since newer posters would often by default have very low K scores.

...Remember the old days, when all you had to worry about was the size of your bar. Or two bars. Or the very much coveted "blown up bar"...

The Karma thingy is like a new member with........a errrrrr............. not many.....um.........threads started yet .........stars and ........such.........kinda............ ummmmmmm........like that.

to be honest we have got too many numbers on our profiles, soon people will start playing trumps with them.

So you can be a fairly new member and have like 90 karma, if you get lots of stars few post and no topic started?

Is that even close to correct?

The only problem I have with the karma is calling it karma, but then karma can be both negative or positive, so ..........never mind.

shouldn't we have a negative Karma indicator?

Here's how you calculate 'K'....

K = (S/P + S ∑3 + ∞ * X ⅞ /W*F√46 ≠ 9 ∞√X÷P)
