no offence - but " it looks old " is irrelevant - CGI can mimic age

the only way to use age as evidence that it is not CGI is to produce provenance

Looks like it was taken straight from an old Thunderbirds episode, minus the wires....maybe.

Well this is what I can see: It's a poster (or just some kind of image) that is hanging on the wall and it is being filmed. You can even see the edge of the poster at some point. No movement at all......

All it needs is Godzilla to come running up to it and do a wrestling body slam on it.

It's not a poster but a monitor or TV - you can see the interference lines. To me it looks like either CG or a model suspended close to the camera.

That's what I thought too, at first, however, about 30 secs in, you can see that the shadow is broken up by the tree shapes, which you wouldn't get if it was a poster, or a tv screen. CGI is the more likely culprit, made to simply look older. It is reminiscent of a Godzilla flick, for some reason.

It's interesting, but the same question pops up every time you see a snippet like this. Where's the longer footage? Surely, if a real event, you'd be filming as long as you could. The other thing, is that is seems perfectly poised for such a photo op...it's much better if filming something else, then you pan to film the just noticed UFO. Otherwise, what, you just happened to have this camera on a tripod filming the countryside, when a UFO flew perfectly into frame....???

Total tosh, made to look old, almost certainly cg and as people have said you would take as much footage as you could. All we see here is a perfectly posed ufo.

Totally silly..

yep, it's Billy alright. I remember this one.
There was also a youtube video on how
this shot was faked. And it was a model
suspended near the camera.
