Strange Light NOW over Seattle- Another cam- What is this?

You just posted an image and not the webcam site...That looks to me like a street light going out or a light refraction on the lens from probably a car or whatever...going by that stand alone image.

Thank you, OP. I am collecting a sequence of images now. The images does refresh with a new time, as you say. Very interesting and will keep an eye on it. Many thanks.

Okay, I saved 10 images from 4:23 to 4:41 am PDT and made a GIF of them:

Interesting. Don't know if it's just light flare from a source close to the camera but if so, its variable intensity is a bit puzzling.

I haven't altered the images in any way. They are just as downloaded from the webcam. The GIF was done online. Leave to you to decide what you think.

EDIT to add: the easiest will be to see how things look as the sun rises there. Then all should be either plainly obvious or more mysterious.

Aliens? Not sure if anyone mentioned aliens... yet. But I'd agree that this is likely just a street light. As I say, once the sun is up it'll be easy to be sure. Even so, it's better to post it and check it out than not, so thanks to TrueAmerican for doing so. This way, we can be ready for any hysterical stuff that might start up on twitter.

Okay, I'm moving along now... Nothing to see here.

I think you are right in sayin its a close up of a street light. If you look further down the road you can see the other street lights line up with the bright light.

You sheeps are so gullible and need to think outside of the box. It was obviously a UFO and the 'shadow' government forces raised the street light there in the morning to throw you off.
