A twin-engine airplane crashed into a hillside minutes after taking off today, erupting into flames and missing a large condominium project and several houses by a short distance.
An investigator for the board, Chauncey Twine, said the airplane crashed at an 80-degree angle, clipping trees and landing amid rocks and boulders at 3:15. An explosion followed, sending flames higher than treetops, residents said.
Airplane parts were scattered in small pieces throughout the site on Garrett Mountain. Flames Higher Than Treetops
Federal, police and fire investigators sifted through the remains. The parts of the plane were scattered beneath trees, shrubs and rocks, and the smell of jet fuel permeated the air

Why worry so much if they have nothing to hide?

Yeah, where is it?
Didn't they completely reassemble PamAm 800 from all the wreckage as part of their investigation?

Excellent point glitch.
However, I think you may be referring to TWA Flight 800

TWA flight 800 crashed into the ocean, and yet it was reconstructed.

There won't be any reconstructions because they can't even produce the serial numbers for the planes, or any evidence that it was the alleged flights.
People act like in the "normal crash" scenario the plane is only dropping at a speed of 5 MPH. Just because it isn't going full-throttle 500 MPH for the ground.

I don't see why they don't try to piece it back together, even if it's shattered into tiny pieces.

Just stop and think for yourself for a minute - just why do they reconstruct aicraft that accidentally crash - exactly what are they trying to find out?
Then you will know why the 9/11 aircraft were not reconstructed
