Misogyny: Ruining the Female Male Relationship(esp. in the digital age)

In my opinion it is misogyny, that is ruining the male female relationship.

Beginning with religion, which oppresses women, and causes the whore/virgin phenomenon, and going all the way to our workplace, where to this day some women still have to tolerate being called Sunshine and Honey Baby while on the clock, misogyny is alive and well, and ruining relationships all over the globe.

And nowhere can this be seen more plainly than internet message boards, much like the one on which I post (with a bunch of misogynists!!)

Misogyny is the hatred of women.

Every day, more and more people are turning to their internets for entertainment and brain exercise, especally after a long day of work, and little extra money to go out much any more.

So what does one encounter online? Eventually, when one wants a great mental challenge, they seek places of community so that their brains can be exercised by the communication between people. Online, humans remain true to their traits, and arguments are bound to happen.

What I see as a huge ruin to the future of male female relationships is the high incidence of misogyny being displayed on a lot of message boards where both sexes post.

I am going to use this board to show my examples, and other links, because this is something that has the potential to ruin a lot of relationships in the very near future!

Women haters come busting into a conversation and tend to blame Feminism for every social ail on the planet. Most of the time these are misogynists who have recently been dumped. They come in and begin spewing hatred on women, under the umbrella of feminism, so as to not own their direct insults. (any female is disgusted and insulted when misogyny is near, and it is something a woman knows when she sees it.).

Here we have a thread in which a misogynistic Judge declares that a woman wearing skinny jeans could not have been rapoed due to the skinny jeans.

That is an example of legislated misogyny, and it one reason that male and female relationships are that much closer to ruined on message boards and in general, due to the way this type of topic draws in the symapthizers (of misogyny).

Another example of an elected Judge who claims rape cannot cause pregnancy, among other preposterous things, such as women should be subservient to men!! Legislated misogyny. Of course you will always have those who agree with these types, and thus the female male relationship is ruined even further, because Judges like these give misogynists a sense of legitamacy and being right.

Of course no where does misogyny come into play more on a message board than when we discuss rape.

This thread, which claims Rape is the Fault of the Victim], (note the ironic date the initial post was made), should be required reading for anyone who wants a clear picture of misogyny in action. It is one of the biggest and best examples of internet misogyny in action, and it is a fascinating and horrifying look into the minds of women haters.

There are women posters here, all over the internet. When we speak up in defense of our gender, we are called feminazis. We are told we are harping on, bitching moaning groaning whining complaining.

No it is called pride in gender and self defense.

There seems to be a concerted agenda on some web boards to ruin female male relationships.

Could not agree more with you. Misogyny predates feminism, i'd say misogyny did more damage to the relationship between men and women.

I disagree, I think it is sexism and what the media teaches children from a young age that ruins the relationship.

IMO it is neither Feminism nor Misogyny that is the culprit for the break up of male female relationships. As usual it is 6 of one and half a dozen of the other.

Feminism is only necessary because of Misogyny. However, Feminism has IMO been misused and misunderstood to the point where it is in some ways self defeating. Quite possibly just the way TPTB want it.

Im a woman. I would love it, if someone called me sunshine at work. Heck id even be ok with hunny buns. I have never in all 40 of my years had any kind experience that the OP is reffering to, in any way (heh and im not ugly).
Honestly all I really see are shy men affaid to say or even hint anything. Its like their too scared to. Women today can do anything that want! except...............Stay home, cook, clean and raise kids. Yeah we kinda get looked down on for that. Try putting THAT on your resume once the kids are raised.

As a femiicentic woman myself, of course I support your right to want to be called sunshine at work. Whatever floats your boat. But I classify it as sexual discrimination and gender discrimination if I am on the clock when being called those names by someone in the position to fire me. I can overlook an equal saying those names to me, because they are not in a power position. It really does come right down to a hatred of women and abuse of power in most cases.

I am glad you have never faced this, I have and far worse. And ugly has nothing to do with it. I'm not ugly either, it is a power thing on the man's part.

One thing I find increasingly alarming is the incredible demands and expectations men and boys have in regards to sex. I see this in media and in comedy shows and I am so glad I am not dating. While I realize there's a lot of pressure on men too it's nothing compared to the invasive nature of things now being demanded of women and certain acts which in the past have been thought of as exceptional, special or very rare are now routinely or daily demanded by men. I hope this is not truly the reality in most relationships...I find many of these acts demeaning to women and suggesting a more brutal type of dominance desired by men.

As president of the ATS chapter of No Ma'am I must say that Misogyny is a terrific idea.

Women are destroying men, they are destroying masculinity in society, feminizing men to the point of androgyny.

Women will not be happy till any masculine activity or belief is totally and completely destroyed.

The bottom line is that women should be avoided at all costs and should never be trusted or even dealt with without a competent lawyer always on hand.

Obviously you have never been married. That is EXACTLY what women do. Men do want to do "male stuff" but a married man is curtailed by the wife. The wife is the bane of any and all "male stuff" as it has been said, a wife wants to take any fun a man has into the woods and shoot it dead. This is the reason that women marry men.

Because if a man want's to get it on with a woman (especially the wife) he must bend to her will. He cannot act as his own man, but act the way the woman wants him to act. Men are not free to be a man, they if they want to be with a woman must follow the woman's rules, and the woman's wants.

This whole misogyny hypothesis you have. That's exactly what the evils minds behind feminism wanted you and all western women to think. What they didn't except was that men would start thinking it to! Feminism is so ingenious, it was designed so that anyone man against the movement would look like a misogynist. In reality, there are very few men who are against feminism whom actually hate women or are against women's rights. They are against the nightmarish psychological effects it is causing. For example, we have divorce. Take a look the divorce rates and how they jumped at the exact time feminism came about:

Take a look at the hatred it is causing between both sexes. The fear, the pain, the psychological trauma it is causing in children.

I thought Whatuno was being satiristic in his discourse on marriage, and how women are ruining men in marriage.

Of course there are men in this world who feel just that.

I myself have chosen not to date or marry again, I intend to devote my life to mission work of some sort when my youngest duckling is all grown up. It is partly due to the quality of men I have encountered after my divorce, but more so to do with pure selfishness. I do not want to marry or have a partner at this time because I want to devote my life to my own selfish endeavors.

I do think many women feel a societal pull to have a man, and somehow still in this day and age look upon someone like myself as out of the norm in general.

I do not understand where the women do not want to get married and be homemakers misogyny is stemming from. I grew up in a small town, I never fit in, and most of my female classmates have remained married from the day we graduated.

Whatukno, I do know exactly what you're talking about, women do seem to like to control their men and minimize their fun. BUT. In my experience this is a direct result of a plethora of mental imbalances caused by anxiety, self confidence issues and quite probably some fairly traumatic childhood experiences. All, IMO caused by the MSM in its relentless campaign to MESS WITH PEOPLES HEADS.

I do think misogyny is alive in well in the 21st century, fueled by the pervasive creep of porn into virtually everything, causing men to both lust for and disrespect women at the same time. However, to say that the male/female relationship is most affected by misogyny is a somewhat over-simplistic explanation of a timeless yin/yang struggle that has plagued humanity since the first account of Adam and Eve.

With regard to the digital aspect of your argument, I tend to think it's just a natural extension of anonymity. I think people who may be more cautious in sharing their true feelings and views IRL feel somewhat liberated to be idiots in the digital realm.
