The united states is blatantly an increasingly evil empire.

The religions are responsible for more death than anything else on the planet.

Shouldn't burning these things really be a good thing for everyone? Wouldn't it be a positive way for anyone with a brain to come together, unite, and voice their unhappiness with all of this?

All these people preaching tolerance and togetherness... They're never going to stop people from disrespecting things they don't like, so why not actually exercise tolerance and togetherness and burn it all together in one big heap?

All the current hubbub over the qoran burnings, the mosque, all the divisive racial and religious garbage being shoved down our throats... It's all doing exactly what the enemy wants. They're dividing and conquering based on our emotions and stupidity.

Look at this thread...

NYPD 'army' for protests

www.nypost.com

The NYPD has called up "an army of cops" to handle rival protests expected to draw thousands to the site of the planned Ground Zero mosque on the anniversary of 9/11, sources said yesterday.

"We want to keep everyone in their corners. You don't want the opposing sides to clash," an NYPD official told The Post. "All eyes are going to be on New York City that day. No one wants to see a fight on Sept. 11."

With as many as 4,000 riled-up demonstrators expected ...

Now instead of all those police having to reprimand and detain people for fighting over such stupid bullcrap, all of which is disrespectful to everyone there on what's supposed to be a memorial... How nice would it be to see everyone just agreeing to disagree and burning all of their cherished [contrived] material things together in unison?

You are only 3 years late to the game.

Muslim extremists were burning Bibles, shooting up convents and church schools long before the media elevated a barely-there church to national notoriety.

Of course, none of the MSM picked up the AP story from 2007:

Muslims ransacked, burned and looted a Catholic school and convent in Gaza. Crosses were broken, a statue of Jesus was damaged, and prayer books were burned.
Gunmen used the roof of the school during the fighting, and the convent was "desecrated," according to the community’s pastor.
Father Musalam told The Jerusalem Post that the Muslim gunmen used rocket-propeled grenades (RPGs) to blow through the doors of the church and school, before burning Bibles and destroying every cross they could get their hands on.

Apparently, that doesn't merit headlines and blathering idiots, does it?

Ya know,, I like living here in the US,.
Maybe I am a bit disconnected,.. but
If it makes someone fell triumphant to burn
an american flag,, have at it..same goes for the
Bible or the Koran, ...they are just things.
and they can be easily reproduced..

I find it rather like a 15th century witchburning attitude getting
the panties
all up in a bunch over such material items.

Wouldn't burning flags, bibles and qurans just put us on their level?

Only if you're doing it out of [idiotic] spite.

Burning them all together would show solidarity and understanding

Burning them all would show the world how stupid people can be in the name of "solidarity and understanding."
