This is pretty sick, truly the cesspit of the world for all things moral.

Afghanistan's dirty little secret

One American soldier returning home after observing this behavior remarked "we need to get out of there right now, those people are so messed up we can't help them"

America has been there for over 8 years and this is the first we are hearing of this.

I guess it really was a dirty secret.

Really? WTF are we doing over there? I just puked in my mouth a little. This is absolutely disgusting. We need to get the hell out of there NOW! I seriously hope none of this is rubbing off on our people.

S&F to get the word out.

MOTF!

Obviously e-merica cannot change the way these people feel about what we call pedophilia. It is an accepted part of their culture. There have been many cultures who have practiced this sort of unjust behaviour. These sort of threads just make me want to throw my hands up in the air and move on to the next thread. I'm sure we could speak intelligently about the moral, psychological, sociological and soceital affects of this sort of practice, but what would we discuss after that? I wish that there was some meaningful discussion to be had here in this thread, but what sort of discussion could possibly occur here other than people raging and then other people trolling them?

Interesting comments on that article. One talking about the nature of oppressive religions and how their doctrines can lead to such behaviors. You can draw direct comparison between the rampant paedophilia within the Catholic church as well as within Islam. So what does this say about religion as a whole?

Edit to say: Yes, this is disgusting and shocking, but look how we have all kind of accepted the sexual abuse within the Catholic church. There was systemic abuse for who knows how many years.

if the story is true (and not propaganda) then all i can say is that the west are guilty of such things as well! from the ancient greeks to the catholic church to paedophiles walking past your schools. dont get on your high horse, every country in the world has these sorts of people!

Couldn't agree more with you. The West's trade in paedophilia is immense and the sex tourism industry is booming. Morality has gone right out the window whether you live in Afghanistan, the UK or USA.

Nothing new to most who have looked at Islamic culture. But there is a lot of this in the West as well. I think its disgusting, repulsive, morally lacking and for lack of a better word, evil. But how exactly do you go about changing anything?

As one boy, in tow of a man he called "my lord," told the Reuters reporter: "Once I grow up, I will be an owner, and I will have my own boys."

Haunting...

Ditto.

But is the best option to just leave the issue alone?

As much as I loath this - deplore it?
It's their culture and it's their rules and they've been 'at it' for centuries.

Even the 'boy' is quoted as saying:

As one boy, in tow of a man he called "my lord," told the Reuters reporter: "Once I grow up, I will be an owner, and I will have my own boys."
source

SO leave them to it.
We've got enough to clean up FIRST in our OWN BACKYARD.

I mean some on. You want to do some good?
Go to war against NAMBLA here at 'home'.

It's doubtful Western Soldiers would die making war against NAMBLA and even better innocent women and children wouldn't be killed either.

peace

It's a cultural cycle that is accepted, it seems.

As for the western world yes we have our share of moral degenerates, but at least if caught they go to jail, in most cases anyway.

The morality of the whole world is twisted, but in places where you can do it and not break any laws or go to jail it's much worse.

Damn thats horrible, but as has been said-it goes way back in their culture.

Good reason for getting the women outta their burkhas if ever I read one.

Thats twisted, such a large percent of the tribal people do what is essentially rape and sex slavery, and all seem to think its fine-they boast about it.

I had heard someone speak off the dancing boys before, but I thought it was just some rumor. The OP article seems to suggest this is far more real than a rumor sadly.

I was wondering what exactly this was...

This certainly isn't only in Afghanistan.

The Ancient Greeks were into this type of thing. Men and Boys and Sodomy.

The North American Man Boy Love Association has their very own website.

It certainly exists.
Many of these people who work exclusively with Kids are into that mindset.

Just look at John Wayne Gacy, the Gay serial killer.

I have a friend who was an Eagle Scout.

Guess who molested him ? Yep, his good buddy the scout leader/master.

We even had pedophilia in the White House during the Reagan and Bush 41 years.

Why do you think Michael Jackson was so screwed up ? ....the power mongers who run the entertainment industry got a hold of him at a very young age.....

His Brothers remarked on how their father would take young Michael to all night parties. Returning the next day finding Michael exhausted.

The price of success you might say.

The only difference between us and the rest of the world is that our media filters everything we are told to promote their Zionist anti Muslim agenda.

Since the pedophiles control the media, we don't hear much about it as existing here in the US.

Almost as if it only exists in Afghanistan...more reason to bomb the $hit out of them huh ?

I have seen a documentary on this, it's pretty weird, I think it may have been on channel 4 a while ago. I will see if I can track it down.

Well, I do not feel that the best response is to leave it alone. I would say, "Raise public awareness!" but obviously the public is at least somewhat aware, because the was a Channel 4 documentary about it.

Can we confront it openly? Probably not. The whole subculture will just go further underground. Can we confront this with morals or compassion? Maybe.

To me there seems to be an underlying factor to the whole sex trade that does not seem immediately apparent. Sex slavery is way beyond erotica, or any other healthy forms of sexual expression. Obviously people around the world have been filling some sort of void by raping young men and women. The question is: "What is that void, and how do we fill it in some other fashion or eliminate it?"

On the surface, it seems to be perpetuated by the tradition and the availability of "slaves" to be had. Another angle could be a psychological reaction to domination. When someone is dominated by a person or situation, they often want to release their tension by dominating another person weaker than them. You can see all sorts of negative domination even in mainstream porn. All those genres of porn, like: rough, hardcore, sleeping girl, facials, rape fantasy, and others seem to be another expression of this chain of domination.

I am not treying to justify this sort of behaviour, just trying to figure out the underlying causes of it.

My god, that video is awful-I had to force myself to watch the second part, but I can't watch the rest.

This is a disgusting sick perversion which you would rightly IMO be locked up for in my country.
Sorry to say screw cultural traditions, this is evil child grooming and molestation on a big scale, which is also seemingly "cool" to be involved with over there.
How sick is that?

Someone accidentally drop a series of hellfires on these demons please.
I can't see any other answer sadly.

Sadly I think your response is exactly what the "sources" of these films not only expect but are counting on.

I have to agree with a few other posters here who have stated we should worry about what goes on in our own country before 'dropping hellfires" on others.

Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones..

respectfully,

~meathead

*Disclaimer*
I do not condone and personally am repulsed by the idea of sexual slavery . Nor do I condone the actions of these sick and twisted pedophiles. If I could have it my way anyone found guilty beyond doubt of pedophelia would be castrated and incarcerated for life.

I hear what you are saying, many countries do have sick things like this going on especially amongst the super rich/elite.

What shocked me was the way the sick men in the first two parts talked about their sick deeds in such a carefree way, almost like someone would discuss thier top score at golf or something so trivial.

Sick evil people IMO.

Well there you go. I fully understand why we are there now. I am sure many in DC will be taking trips there to “visit” the troops and “enjoy” the country.

If you have ever seen the video Conspiracy of Silence you will understand.

For those who have not here it is.

Pedophiles are all over the place they are a blight to society.

I'm a little surprised so few people seem to be aware of this; I'd heard of it in the late 80's from my Persian employer at the time. He spoke it was very common and acceptable in Iran, Iraq and most other Islamic countries in the region, and one of the many reasons he left Iran.

I believe it was Jesus in the Bible who said the first to cast stones?

Quote from : Wikipedia : Catholic Sex Abuse Cases

The Catholic sex abuse cases are a series of lawsuits, criminal prosecutions and scandals in the Catholic Church related to sex crimes committed by Catholic priests and members of religious orders, while under diocesan control or in orders that care for the sick or teach children, that began receiving widespread public attention in the last two decades of the 20th century.

The issue of pedophilia in the priesthood has received significant media attention in Canada, Ireland and the United States, Mexico, Belgium, France, and Germany, while cases have been reported throughout the world.

Before a country like Afghanistan, can be looked down upon, our own country needs attention.

If religion and as well leadership from an organized country like America, or any other country for that matter, with Catholic priest molesting children, primarily boys, can, will, and does get away with it, there is little to no precedent to be shown.

While certainly this is a horrendous action it is another culture not understood by a huge majority of Americans, considering ATS primarily has a majority of American citizens, with America being founded upon puritanical beliefs.

Europe as well as a large part of the rest of the world sees Americans as prudish.

I am not defending these accusations but stating instead though that people need to wake up to the real world, other countries, cultures, and levels of education associated with them, like Afghanistan, do not share, or do not know how to enforce their beliefs, except through barbarous activities and treatment.

The Afghani's do not treat their women with any sense of respect whatsoever.

They are seen as property.

ATS member, LadySkadi, has two excellent threads, speaking of the abuses.

Afghan Women Fear Their Fate Amid Taliban Negotiations

...and...

Women With Suntans Will Be Arrested, Iran *** Fox News Bias?

The Middle East acts in many barbarous ways towards people not just boys.

This is in no way excusing Afghani men from taking boys but the underlying context is what another member said about the culture of not even being able to associate with a female via conversation, who is not related to them, without a proposal of marriage.

So I see this issue as complex because this is seen as a way to sidestep custom.

Again, before people began casting stones at people, our own house is made of glass.

Speaking of America.

As well as this just how much of this story is war propaganda verses reality?

Stanford is and always has been associated with Intelligence Agencies.

Just the same as Harvard, Yale, and Oxford.

And the Secret Societies who hide other peoples proclivities.
