Turn the TV Off

Defeating the globalist controllers' NWO agenda seems almost impossible. It seems there are not enough people working on it. I'm thinking today about how to easily get some progress made in involving additional people to work on the task at hand.

Members here on ATS and the public at large who are reading this thread: I say turn the TV off. TV programs are owned by the controllers and powerful messages and misleading information are programmed into us via TV.

If we could at the very least do that - turn the TV off - removing ourselves from the matrix, and, freeing up the time that was spent watching TV - perhaps from this some leadership at the grassroots level will evolve.

You are not in the matrix, red pill is hard core reallity, take the red pill and jump off the top of the building thinking it's not real. It's what they want. What a bunch of reptiles anunaki servants, scum bags, these guys are all the way red.

Why stop at the television? Shouldn't you be turning off the radio, internet, and not buying any books/magazines? What's the difference? While you are at it you probably shouldn't walk into a store of any sort. Hmm....come to think of it don't go out in public at all. The advertisements are everywhere. You shouldn't even walk down to street lest a flyer fall at you or something. I suggest you dig a very large hole and live in it. That's the only way to escape everything.

Meanwhile, I'll be watching Project Runway on thursday. Just dying to see what happens next.

Well I would but I payed my TV license for the next year so I feel I should get my moneys worth. What annoys me is you need a license even if you have a TV as I do for the ole xbox 360.

I would just like to add I am currently watching Channel Four news in the UK and they are using quotes from Twitter as the center of a story about the 'cat bin lady.'

Whilst trying not swear; I hate the 'cat bin lady' story I hate the very concept of Twitter, and I especially hate the combination of the two.

I am very sorry for mentioning them as obviously this is very hypocritical of me.

To add star and flag I just turned off the TV.

Because most TV stations and the mainstream media are controlled by big corporations and it's used as a tool to spread propaganda and brainwash the masses. The Internet isn't bound by the same rules; anyone can freely distribute information; and said corporations can't control the flow of information. If it wasn't for the Internet I would still be lapping up everything that CNN told me as the unvarnished truth.

I plan on turning off my television just as soon as I can turn off this internet. The NWO brainwashed me to get addicted to this internet and I am going to try and cut myself off. Then the TV will be next.

wasn't really till I read this post that I noticed that I havn't been watching any TV of the main stream variety.....

I prefer alternative media such as ATS and find that I can trust and research these news stories more so than on MSM.....

You need to not subscribe to cable. Turning your television off is good for you but.......really isn't sending anyone else a message.

I recently got cable (after not having/watching TV for over 2 years) only because it was cheaper than just having Internet service alone. So it appears they are making it way too easy (and cheaper) to watch TV now so something has got to be up!

I am going to cancel my cable next month (next week) and just pay a higher rate for internet. Because watching television the past 2 months is really an insult to my intelligence. It's awful and it's totally consumer-based. There is 18 minutes of 'program' and 12 minutes of commercials. Really? And I'm paying for this? Good gawd!!! Besides, TV sucks anyway. Even the 'smart' channels are controlled by the Elite. So if you think you're watching UFO Hunter and getting the real deal, think again.
It's all programmed. Just like we are.

I have a landline, cell phone and Internet. They reduced those three 'a la carte' bills by 20 dollars if I bundled it and got Direct TV.

So instead of paying roughly 140 plus tax....my new 'bundled' bill is 120 plus tax. Go figger!

I did just that a few months ago.

I've noticed a few reports in recent months that viewers of MSM news programmes has significantly diminished.

Imagine, together we could send such a strong message, simply by all of us switching off the TV - or, if that's too much for people, we could adhere to a voluntary 'rationing' of TV hours - say no more than 4 hours a week.

I am guessing, however, that few would be willing to do even that.

The TV is the main propaganda machine. It is what they rely on most to get their propaganda messages out (directly as well as subliminally).

Although I would consider the MSM news programmes to be the main direct propaganda machine, I agree with what others have already said - ipretty much ALL programmes are government/zionist propaganda of some kind, even the films, which are a vehicle for desensitising the public to violence, negatively influencing social values and standards, as well as blurring the line between fiction and reality, to name but a few - all of which serve their demonic agenda very well.

Sorry, but you won't get to me turn of my TV every Sunday night when I am trying to watch the new Hannah Montana.

It just doesn't work that way. I should be free to watch any entertainment if I get bored, propaganda machine or not. I am pretty smart so it isn't as if it would influence me much.

A lot of people damn the television these days, but for me it gives me a great deal of clues to a great many things going on in the world. "Fringe" comes to mind, as does "V", and a lot of other shows. Just today I was watching an episode of NCIS, and it was about Super Soldiers. Of course there is a lot of crap on there, but one has to separate the wheat from the chaff, so to speak.

I've had to turn the TV off most of the time. 1/2 the commercials are about FOOD. Food that I can no longer eat! I'd driving me nutz. I'm having cravings enough without the constant reminder of the food I'm missing! UGH!!!

More like food that we don't need!! It is always so stupid to where everything seems like food: Cosmetics sell because of their edible looking products and everything with its horrendous corn byproduct is in everything we each in USA.

Might as well be like the people on WALL-E and just sit and do what we are told while we do nothing but eat.

I have a landline, cell phone and Internet. They reduced those three 'a la carte' bills by 20 dollars if I bundled it and got Direct TV.

Most cable companies offer bundled packages, I have Comcast bundle, when I gave up my ATT land line I saved $38.00 dollars a month, we also have ATT Uverse, Wide Open West and Brighthouse in this area, it is not really competition as their bundled packages are pretty much the same and the price difference are pennies.

I do not watch any news on TV, get my news on line, what I do watch is the History International, Discovery, Science Channel, PBS plus I am a movie buff. I do subscribe to a local newspaper here in Royal Oak because I am civic minded and want to know what is going on in my back yard so to speak.

Bottom line it is much cheaper to bundle, I pay $127.00 a month and if I had the same separately it would cost $178.00 a month. When I switched they gave me HBO and Starz free for two years, still have a year and half before that ends.

I did that already. I turned it off almost 2 years ago. I can't say I miss it.

When I'm bored there ar lots of things to do for me not to turn on the tv. But hey feeling bored usually means you don't feel like doing anything so why turn on a tv ?

I think that is the biggest problem these days...

People think they are pretty smart and because of that they won't fall for it.
The worst thing is that they do fall for it , but because of them thinking it won't happen to them they will not see or learn that they are wrong. Common I can not fall for it I'm to smart.
